Yeah, I was convinced in summer league. He's got the right game. |
Yea I'd start him, even though I'd be concerned about how it might effect Randle. |

I'm curious what's the % outside the paint for the team, might be very very ugly... |

I know it's one pre season game but Randle is gone. Nance and Kuz are better. |

And it won't be the last time he'll shoot poorly. He's a second year player, who has adjusted his shot mechanics. |

Wolves were trying so hard, Lakers were without 4 rotational players and we still stuck close. |

Lots and lots of fouls. No pace to the game. Perfect for Wolves. |

Randle and Kuzma were the only reasons we were in the game in the 3rd quarter. Luke benched Nance in order to play Kuzma and Randle together and we went on our run. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Yea I'd start him, even though I'd be concerned about how it might effect Randle. | At some point, the coach has to consider what is best for winning games, because thats what his job is, to win games. So u figure Kuzma is going to end up being the starting power forward. Trade Randle or Nance and get something good, before things start getting more ugly. |

Randle and BI's improvements look legit. Lonzo looked up and down; I liked his overall activity, but just didn't make shots and in some instances rushed his reads. I hope he rebounds like he did in SL after the first game.

Come on, Butler didn't play after first quarter, Towns barely had the ball. Wolves didn't try so hard... |

I wonder how different things will look when Lopez is back and healthy.
I can't imagine we'll be pushing the pace as much as we did tonight. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

We were hurt by not having Lopez. No real half court offense that can create their own shot outside of Randle and Kuzma and at times Ingram.
Randle and Kuzma were essentially the reasons we were in this game in the 3rd quarter, given the build of our team, the offensive load to create offense should be on guys like KCP and Lopez.
Which is why the biggest letdown today for me personally was KCP. Larry Nance. Jr underwhelmed but he's not a starting center. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I thought Randle looked as good as Kuz. Kuz stole all of Nance's minutes. I'm more worried about Lonzo. I'll give him a pass since it's his first time playing against NBA starters which are bigger and faster than the SL'ers that he dominated against. Lets see how he adjusts and bounces back next game after having seen the new speed to the game. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024 |
