Not a good look for Lonzo, even if he does actually need this rest. He's already getting killed on social media because people think he's somehow ducking the Fox match-up. |

When BI got hurt, I said it's Kuzma Time and he erupted for 31 and 9.
PJ Dozier Time.

The social media stuff is whatever, but it does seem a bit weak to sit this one out given the history and all. It's not like he's hurt to the point where he can't play limited minutes, at least, unless something severe happened in practice (doubtful). And unlike BI, Lonzo still needs these summer league reps to get accustomed to playing at the NBA level and also build some chemistry with some of his teammates in the process. I really hope they don't coddle him and sit him out the rest of the summer league (2 more games left, minimum?). |

Seriously, anybody with a lick of fame gets "killed" at some point on social media. Twitter, facebook, and instagram just brings out people who like being negative. |

Ugh, dude is throwing so much shade Lonzo's way, and we're just gonna let it lie, lol. Where's the competitive spirit? Kobe wouldn't let a loser like this go. And before people jump on me for comparing him to Kobe, that's what happens when your dad, team president and GM hype you up as the second coming before playing an NBA game. |

Lonzo Ball (groin) is OK, source says. Lakers just wanna play it safe. So no face off vs Fox & the Kings. |

It doesn't matter.....it's just a damn emoji.
People get too caught up in "So and so said this about blahbity blah". NBA players talk trash about other NBA players, and fans talk trash about everybody. This isn't unique to Lonzo and it's certainly not new. |
