I'm convinced that Mozgov and Lou will be traded away before deadline. |

Luke sounds so clueless in these interviews sometimes. "I have to watch the tape". You just watched the game... |

It's clearly a deflection, I hear coaches use that line all the time not just Luke. _________________ #IStillBelieveTaurean |

Mike Brown would use it all the time. Not so much with MDA. He could tell you right off the bat why they sucked. |

Two of their key starters were no-shows. Not much can overcome that. |
Well their 2 "key starters" are bum anyways so we cant do anything about that..JR AND DLO cannot go on the same lineup together they seem to have bad chemistry when they are on the lineup..Randle doesnt know how to set a good pick?screen and DLO just making stupid decisions with his fancy passes which 90% of the time turns into turnovers..I dont know how luke could teach this bums but man he needs help BADLY... |
you seem upset "new" poster

been reading this forums for a while now but i didnt have the chance/will to sign up and posts, its just that now i need to express my depression with this team..and sadly we FANS cant do anything about it.. |

Missed the last quarter and change. I was spared by the dinner bell.
Will Randle ever subjugate himself to playing team defense? Or setting solid picks? That's great he could finish with his right hand. That's a step. But it's a baby step if he doesn't feel like executing on defense or running plays the way they were designed.
And what the hell is going on with DLO? Talk about losing confidence in his shot - he's gotta fix that. DLO and Nance both need to sit under a hypnotist's swinging watch as a voice echoes repeatedly in their heads: "Shooooot the Ballllll...." "Shooooott the daammmmnn Baaaaalllllllllll!!!!" |

I hope they are showcasing and tanking because taking out Ingram the way he was going was stupid. Reward the kid with his first 20+ point game and confidence from good shooting lately. |

I think lou will be....would be nice to flip him for a young asset. Would love to see him flipped to dantoni for Tyler Ennis + pick.
Nobody is taking Mosgov without something good attached, if Mitch trades a young asset in order to dump the contract he should be fired. We would be much better stretching him and taking the smaller cap hit than ejecting real talent. |

I dunno. Something about Luke makes me feel at ease with the coaching staff.
He is the first coach since Phil that I feel has been competent. And yes. That includes Dantoni even if he is doing well now. |

It's a little disturbing when his teammates don't team to care either. One FGA in the 4th. |

He's made some concerning judgment calls to me but I'm happy enough with him to stick around for a couple years at least. Would love for him to learn on the job and potentially be a long-term fit here, but I don't think coaches develop like players do. foshowtime wrote: | Biggest Questions for me in this game:
1) DLO usually struggles in the games following his minutes being cut short. So, let see how he bounces back in this one.
2) How many minutes will Luke give to our new young, exciting starting lineup. Will he also put Zubac in there with them for extended minutes? |
Looks like DLO did struggle. The pattern were DLO flourishes with minutes and freedom and struggles when his minutes are screwed with is well established.
Also, thought JR is dominating the ball too much again.
BI, Zubac, and Nance really benefit from playing with DLO.
But, DLO and JR are a bit up and down together as they both like to run the offense. To me, its a no brainer and JR needs to jave the ball less as the team looks much better when DLO is running the offense.
Luke had done a much better job with the rotations the past few games, but tonight was atrocious.
Starters played well, especially BI. But, Luke rode Lou and the ISO boys for wayyy too long. Destroying our flow and our lead.
BI gets hot again in the second and is quickly benched.
Last few games, Nance was first off the bench, coming in quickly for Randle which led to a successful DLO/BI/Nance unit. Tonight, inexplicably, that unit barely got any time together.
Then, when the game was definitely over, it was a chance to give the guys a chance to pad stats and restore some confidence.
Luke gave this opportunity to JR, but not to DLO! _________________ Llluuukkkeee |
