Evans is reminding me of Jumaine Jones. Which is a GOOD thing. We missed that last season. |

5-8 from floor, 11 points for Walton.
Jordan Farmar setting to check in with 4 minutes left. Gets nice ovation.
Odom steps back from three and misses.
Okur misses J, Odom grabs it outlets to Farmar who hits Evans, who draws the foul in transition. Devin Green checking in for LO. Evans 11 points, hitting second FT.
Good contest by Green on his man, but Milsap scores. Green scores reverse on nice feed from Luke.
Turiaf blocks Araujo. Lakers have 17 point lead.
Evans steal, 3-on-1, Evans takes hard foul from Araujo. No flagrant. Evans gets FTs. Timeout.
(Sheesh LG is stuck in mud). |

Why so late to bring in Farmar, I wonder? Was he even gonna play if we didn't have a big lead? It's preseason, for cryin out loud. |

Wow, just saw a pic of Sasha and Smush each0. These guys look alot bigger in the arms. Seems both worked hard on their upper body strength this offseason. |

90-72 Lakers. Jazz miss, can't save it.
Farmar sets up Turiaf with a shuffle pass draws FTs for Turiaf. Turiaf cut on bicep, makes one misses one. Announcers talking about how Farmar is only 19 but plays like 26.
Chase hits jumper off screen. Lakers work ball around, pass stolen by Chase. Utah timeout. They think Chase is quicker than Boykins. |

Exactly.
I mean the rotations tighten down anyway during the final few games with the roster cuts etc... You play your starters more to get chemistry etc... as the preseason goes on so whats with not giving your guys that will be glued to the bench or their couch hardly any minutes the first couple games? |

Farmar steals in bounds, misses step back three. Farmar steals the ball again, his layup blocked, but he's fouled. He goes to the line for FTs. Makes his first point as Laker 39.2 seconds left. Misses second.
Farmar "lightening quick defensively with his footwork".
Farmar down the lane, left handed finger roll good. 13 seconds left. Nice quickness by Farmar for his first basket.
Chase hits jumper. |

I guess Farmar doesn't really need the minutes after all. His understanding of the game is so supreme that he doesn't really need it. |
