I wouldn't be shocked, if we win this game..... but it's gonna be tough... the Blazers are playing well with Aldridge back. |

They better lose!!! The Lakers have no business winning games right now. After the terrible season they have given the fans, the least they can do is lose game so we get a better draft pick!!! _________________ New Beginings |

The Lakers should, have traded Meeks/Gasol/Young/Kaman when they had the chance.... it's really hard losing games consistently when most of these guys are playing for there new career..... but I understand were you're coming from. |

Portland has regained it's stride & won 3 in-a-row. Mo Williams has given them a lift off the bench.
This will be a tough one.
On paper Portland should win this one handily (yes, no, maybe, maybe not). |

These numbers are embarrassing:
Quote: | Since the All-Star Break, the Lakers are:
Tied for 29th in the NBA with a defensive efficiency of 112.2
Last in defensive rebounding percentage at 68.6%
27th in fast break points allowed at 17.2 points per game
Last in points in the paint allowed at 51.3 points per game
Last in opponent’s effective field goal percentage (which accounts for the value of three point field goals) at 54.5% |
NO DEFENSE LINK

Yeah probably another win for the Lakers, #26.
as the streamers fall from the ceiling, it may yet be another tough day for the tank faithful.

Any news on if Verti-gasol is playing or is he still spinning? _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

GASOL/KAMAN LINK |
Such BS. Kaman was getting nada min all season long. The only reason MDA was forced to play Pau was because he was our only "Star" player in the line up. I bet you he would have run a 'small" ball lineup if he could - All guards and no bigs!!!! SMH!!! _________________ New Beginings |

Gasol and Kaman are starting alongside each other tonight.
Glad Pau is playing, might be the last time I see him as a Laker live since i'm going to the game tonight. The last time I saw him play in person was when Kobe came back and he was getting booed lol. |

This has got to be bizzaro world, because for the 1st time in my life, I am worried that we are going to win this one easy.
Usually, its always the niggling feeling, gosh I hope we don't lose, or we really need to win this one, but now its like damn, we are going to win this one, the blazers got no answers for our speed and twin towers to are going to start.
Who would have thought, that this team that I feel is going to win every game is the one that has the worst season record and is out of the playoffs. |

A team is supposed to play to win. The Lakers have too much pride as an organization to not play to win. Every game the rest of the season is a win. A win win or lose. Builds confidence in the young players to win and makes the fans feel good. However a lose is a win too since it helps get a good draft pick. So pull for your team to win. And the Lakers are winner win or lose. |

At this point they are losers. If they continue to win, they just might succeed in continuing our losing trend a lot longer than we anticipate. I hope they lose out so we could win in the draft. That's the only thing that could bring happiness to me is if we get a superstar in this draft for years to come, not these useless wins that increases the odds against getting a better draft pick. |
