I said a few weeks ago, that I wouldn't make game threads until the all-star break... but with so much traffic related to the Kobe extension... I figured I would be the one making the game thread for today since no one bothered doing it.
GO LAKERS!!! |

Man that Kobe extension totally killed my spirit for this team lol.
With that said though, should be a solid win here. My biggest worry is the back to back on the road against the Nets. Even despite their record, they could turn it around at any time with the talent they have.
Either way, Let's go! |

I would love to see the Lakers translate their game to the road. They've been AWFUL there thus far. I think we squeek this one out. |

That article, just says that he had an MRI on Monday and that the team is awaiting results today.... it could be a minor issue... so I'm guessing he can still play today.

Beal will miss at least two weeks with a stress injury in his right leg. (2 minutes ago)
Quote: |
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington Wizards announced today that guard Bradley Beal has been diagnosed with a stress injury to his proximal right fibula. He will miss the next two weeks and then be re-evaluated. The injury was diagnosed by team doctors following an MRI exam on Monday after Beal experienced soreness in his right leg.
Beal has appeared in all 13 games for the Wizards this season, averaging 20.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 40.2 minutes. He missed the final eight games of last season due to a stress injury to his distal right fibula. |

He should rest for a few weeks, he's to slow and when his jump-shot is not falling... he becomes a statue. |

At least Ariza is able to suit up again for the Wiz. Seems like a mash unit out there without a well-oiled bench/machine. |

On the road, this is where the Lakers need to prove they can do something.
Beal injured is a good thing, they still have good players though. |

Gotta keep a eye on Ariza, he destroyed us last year at Staples. |

I'm more worried about the front court of the Wizards, Nene and Gortat have always given us problems in the past... I hope Hill/Gasol are up for the task. |
