If that's a route they choose to go in, of course. |
Unless they trade Nash and Gasol the other guys' salaries are too small to get a good deal. _________________

You bet I don't like a player who appears to be half assing it on the court while making 19 million per year. When our best player goes down you expect your second best player to step up and take the reins. Where's the hunger, where's the intensity from Pau because I'm not seeing it on the court(and I'm not the only one who's noticed) and it's not just this game. He's not even the team's leading scorer which is especially sad considering all he needs to do is clear 13.2 ppg. 13 and 11 on 40%
Anyway my rant is done. _________________ "It was tough," Kobe Bryant said. "But when it got really tough for me, I just checked myself in." |

You should have posted your rant in the Pau P&M thread, it could probably use a bump. _________________ http://tinyurl.com/zhjax5w

Right guys?
-_- |
He's certainly playing up to his contract and #2 option status, right?
I'm still of the opinion to let him walk. |
And replace him with what free agent? |
Hill seems to be doing a lovely job. |
Hill is already on the team. Who are you replacing Pau with since you want to let him walk.
Who backs up J Hill? |
Let me look at the free agent list this upcoming season and I'll tell you.
Just because Pau's already here doesn't mean he's the best option. |
Greg Monroe
DeJuan Blair
Amir Johnson
Anderson Varejao
Marcin Gortat
Spencer Hawes
Monroe is pipe but is available _________________ "It was tough," Kobe Bryant said. "But when it got really tough for me, I just checked myself in." |

Lakers depth was too much for the Pistons to handle tonight. Ten lakers scored. Pistons are now 2-39 against WC teams. Well at least they beat the Sac Kings |

Why is it relevant what a player makes? If you don't like his game, fine. If you don't like his salary I sense jealousy. You don't have to pay it. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

We beat the 3-5 Pistions. We have 5 days to prepare for the 7-3 Golden State Warriors. I'm still on the wait until they've done 1/4 of the season, 20 games kick before I cast a up or down vote. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

We're now at a point where any win, no matter the quality of the competition, is worthy of celebration. |

Take any win at this point. You think after a win this team grows, but that just hasn't been the case. We have won big games against good teams, only to lose to a bad team the next day. There is no such thing as momentum with this group...but hopefully we will win the next few games, get over .500 again, and this team will prove me wrong. |

We tried Detroit QFTOS, but it just ends up being 30 guys trying to sell a house for 15 bucks. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

I figured there weren't enough fans to do the QFTOS.
Guess I was right...too bad. Reading them is like getting dessert after a terrific meal. |

Did anyone else notice Farmar after the timeout with 8 min or so to go in the fourth, he looked visibly frustrated that Blake was going to close the game instead of him.
Or am I reaching?

yup. saw that.
Camera was on him, Byron was praising him and next thing you know, hes throwing the towel on the ground.
But it could be read both ways. Hes a competitor, he wants to be out there... etc, etc.
For last night, I thought MDA was right in calling those timeouts, killing any momentum the pistons had. He also made the right call in brining Blake back in (subbing Farmar out). Blake has been very consistent and patient in running the offense. Hes the manager.
Farmar still needs a little bit of that management skill to work on. Not saying he doesnt have it, but hes hasnt demonstrated it often |
