Attitude problems? That's a huge red flag right there. I believe this is one of those things you can't teach. Unless he changes his attitude, I don't see him becoming a franchise player. _________________

Ya, I believe that every NBA Star has got to have the competitive fire inside to dominate, at all times. You will never see Lebron, Kobe, CP3, or Durant taking a game off... |

I actually know someone who is extremely close to the Huntington Prep program where Wiggins went to high school. He does not have attitude problems.
And we're talking about practice. Practice man. Not a game not a game. We're talking about practice. |

Same (bleep) people have been saying about him for a while now. Maybe it's a where there's smoke, there's fire situation, or maybe it's that people have nothing original to say so they just end up repeating the same (bleep) because it sounds plausible. |

Practice is sacred. Kobe used to torch everything during practice.
That's why people should lower their standards. You don't make this kind of excuses for great players. I'm not saying I hate Wiggins or anything, but it's ridiculous to expect an undrafted player to become a franchise player. One ACL tear and he's forever gone. Give him some time FFS. _________________

I'm not surprised by the article. It looked the same with Team USA vs. Intl teams. His junior year, he stood out. His senior year? Meh.
Some players are born with that fire. Some develop it over time. I'm not concerned about it yet.
We all know about Anthony Davis, and he has proven that he's competitive, but it was always Kidd-Gilchrist who was the most driven player on the Kentucky team.
Let the season play out. Let the coaches teach. Then project. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

I'm not trying to make any excuses. I'm just saying it's dumb to jump to any conclusions after one practice. Even Kobe has sat out practices or had bad practices. And what exactly are Jeff Goodman's qualifications anyway. |

Towards the end of his senior year he definitely wasn't playing as well as he should have been. His coaches believed he was worn out from the entire recruiting process. |

There really is no reason for speculation at this point, I'm sure his freshman year will be as telling as it is for most highly touted prospects. It'll certainly be more telling than what some journalist thinks of a single practice. |

LOL.... I'd say these rumors were started by the the second worst team next year... like so Wiggins drops. _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. is wiggins really as athletic as i'm led to believe?
looking at his highlights, he seems obviously less athletic than lebron (obviously) but also kobe.
in terms of vertical, he seems closer to wade than lebron. |

I also read he was the next Lebron, but with 1 assist per game, he is far from it. (I know we're only 2 games in the season) |

Next Lebron as in biggest superstar, franchise player since Lebron. I doubt it though, he looks like Kobe with 17 now, will need a couple of years til he is nba ready. |
