We also didn't drive to the hoop as much.
Kobe played like a (bleep) tonight with his shot selection. |

What hurts them the most is the LACK of any INSIDE high % presence!
Kwame doesn't have any offensive skills & Cook is just to frail -- We have to beat them with point PF and a point guard play. |

I can't see any other solution, that this team would be able to execute.. Kobe may get into one of those special rhythms?? _________________ "Teamwork is a nebulous thing. It is as ephemeral as love, disappearing at the latest insult.".... Phil Jackson |

Phil is seriously stupid this season. Sub Sasha for Smush and put a FREEZING JJ in the 4th when you barely play him at all. |

This is where we get reminded what a fine GM we have. Look at what Petrie has done in Sac: Wells, Rahim, Artest...add in Miller and Bibby and you have a heck of team. What has Mitch done?...let this game speak for itself. |

we should have gone back to Lamar time and time again in the post, but we can still try to creep into this with a stop and a three point parade |

Exactly. Too much perimeter game from the Lakers... |

Odom should have been fed till he ran out... This is what happens when you're not the designate first option. This team needs to recognize when to scrap that tendancy, and do what works on occassion when it only makes sense.
As it is now, we will all have to basically wait till Kobe can get himself together. That could be dangerous at this particular time... _________________ "According to ESPN.com's conference projections, the Lakers will finish 12th in the West, which prompted Bryant to tweet earlier this offseason, "12th I see.." |

Buss is a cheapskate. Face it. He'll say we're ahead of schedule, so that he can continue to get by with Kobe selling tickets and always holding out hope for another Superstar.
Better pray for KG fellas. Without him, it'll always be Kobe-LO and the team that you see today. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. He guards people, like shuts 'em down. Then, to do 'dat on 'da offensive end. It's like 'Damn, I can't score on him AND he about to bust my ass." |

I've been saying it for 3 games now, kobe needs to be more efficient or look for a better shot. Lamar more efficient.
the other side of the coin is lamar has such a high percentage because he isn't THAT aggressive. Can't win a game with odom your main option. Need someone willing to take tough shots. |
Do you HEAR yourself??? Odom needs to be more efficient??? He's 9 for 12!!!! And more aggressive??? He singlehandely kept us in the game in the first and is picking it up again in the fourth. He is NOT the problem!!! |
Can you read? It says lamar is more efficient. Also the game is played for 4 quarters, not two. |
A 20 point game can't be ridiculed in any way...
He could have scored more in this contest, but again the Lakers are getting raped on defense... |
I didn't criticize Lamar. I criticized Kobe, with the understanding that you need a guy like Kobe if you want to win. He isn't afraid to take tough shots or create shots. You can't win with Lamar being your first option because he is too passive...only shoots when its safe.
Why do you guys always read things that aren't there? 90% of the arguments here are because people misinterpret others' statements and then run with it. |

I don't think anyone was accusing Kobe of being overly efficient tonight. _________________ "Why do you think bad things happen, anyway???" "So we have something good to look forward to."

Even if Kobe & Lamar went off there is absolutely NO INSIDE presence. Doesn't matter -- we're garbage & we didn't expect to win w/o Mihm. |

The Kings have now won 14 of the 18 games since they traded for Artest. That's MVP caliber IMHO. _________________ "Why do you think bad things happen, anyway???" "So we have something good to look forward to."

I'm curious. Just who would YOU play at guard?????
Smush can score but his defense brings back the nightmare-that-was-chucky.
Sasha plays better defense but is streaky as hell with his shot.
And JJ????
So who WOULD you play???? |

He has done alot. He was given a championship team and proceeded to make us a lottery team/eighth seeded playoff team.
Impressive. |
