Offensive boards = second chance points. We give away too many of them and no one makes a fuss because we have been winning lately.
We have been outrebounded, offensively more than defensively too many times this season.
Dwight Howard will NEVER let that happen! |
but you forgot the bench, the rebounding issue doesn't seem to likely change our bench however is something we can change I think. |
Our bench sucks. We all know that. With McRoberts out and Blake injured, we only look worse. Thats Mitch's and Jimmys fault.
But our opposition is always going to look better if we are giving up so many offensive rebounds. |

It's the helping scheme they use, it's not being executed right. When the bigs are forced to help on penetration it leaves the other teams big in front of the basket for easy putbacks and rebounds. |
I see you've decided to run this excuse to the ground this season.
Our bigs get rebounds because of their height, but are average at best at pursuing the ball. You think we're the only team who's bigs step inside to stop penetration? That's what the frontline's job is - being the last line of defense, protecting the paint. |

I'm sure Lamar's 8 pts and 4 Rebs on 34% shooting is the only answer |

lol i forget fisher was even playing. hes that invisible.. how the hell are the lakers supposed to win consistently with fish and artest starting, and NO BENCH... I can't even get mad anymore. |
its just hard to win when 2 starters are just burning clock on a nightly basis with very little production.
the bench is just a mess everyone in the league knows it and Kobe looks to be wearing down has not had a good game in awhile. |
I know it's hard but someone is going to have to man up and tell brown to stop playing fisher. It's a crappy situation. 15 year vet, 5 time champ, it's hard to say go ride the pine but someone's gonna have to do it. Same with mwp. You had a nice career Ron but you're done now. |

Oh here come the reactionary threads. One loss and we need to make huge moves before the trade deadline. |

You're kidding yourself if you don't think this team needs a move or two. And it's 10 losses not 1. |

Not one loss, but 9+ losses now. And we're into almost 1/3 of the season. _________________ You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take. |

we already proved we can beat the jazz at home. been there done that. sure it would've been nice. but its not a statement game for the lakers. and to prove we can win back 2 backs doesnt mean anything either. you dont play back 2 backs in the playoffs. unless something changes due to the shortened season.
but this is what happens when the refs(yep i said it). make you play harder then you have to vs the nuggs the previous night.
37% fg says "we're flat, cause we were spent from last night"
thank REFS. |
hard to beat an NBA team 3 times in a month...we won the season series and beat them once there...most teams/fans would be satisfied but not here
they hate a guy averaging 16/12 |
