Take into consideration where each player is at today. Tim Duncan has acomplished a whole lot, but dont let that be the only reason you pick him. Base your decison on what they are doing currently..except Amare, just guess what he could be doing.

if i were to start a franchise i would pick dwight just because of the fact that hes already the leagues best rebounder and will just continue to develop

Dwight Howard. There ain't gonna be competition for him within a few years from now. Except for Greg Oden.

Depends on the strategy you're taking, but I'd go with D. Howard. Just 20 years old, and already a good defender, rebounder, shotblocker. Monster body and athelete, once his offense gets really good he'll be unstoppable.

Of course, I woulda picked Amare, but the knee scares me.

Yes he is getting older, but his game is not built on his athleteism. I think he could be the same player he is today for another 5-7 years. I'll take the sure thing...
