If the Lakers are your religion than just vote for the Lakers. _________________ Lakers Gonna Lake |

Religion. Lakers are behind my Family, which is pretty high on the list. Just above education. _________________ Where's Cokie the Clown when you need him? |

easy, the lakers.
religion is fantasy and the lakers are reality.
but if there were a god, then the lakers would be god's team. _________________ Spark the ism, my expertism, is lyracism, my flow will take you over like I was hypnotism...so where's the lighter, to start the cypher.... |

Exactly! Religion is something that is made up, while the Lakers actually exist.(in my opinion) |

Perhaps we are all missing the point here.
Maybe the Lakers (and Kobe) are our religion.
We go to the Temple (Staples Center) to worship.
We pray to them ("oh, for the love of god, please hit that open three-pointer").
They bring light and meaning into our lives.
If the rise, fall, and ultimate redemption of Kobe Bryant isn't almost biblical in proportions, I don't know what is... |

If I were as devoted to religion as I am to the Lakers, I'd probably be a bald-headed monk living on a snowy Tibetan mountaintop living off of goat milk in between my 18 hour meditation sessions. |

God gave me my wife, two beautiful kids, and the lakers.
God rules.
