That is hard to believe. Cookie isn't as ripped as Kwame either and since muscle weights more than the tub of lard aka Cook, it makes it more odd. |

I think Kwame weighed that when he was drafted, NBA.com does not update player measurements on a regular basis. _________________ www.lakersbrasil.com

Lead isn't heavier than feathers......its just more dense.
Muscle is about 3 times heavier than fat. If you have a cubic foot of muscle, it will weigh ruffly 3 times heavier than a cubic foot of fat. |

The NBA tends to take listing when the players get measured pre-draft. Once the numbers are in the system, they don't seem to change until someone decides to change it. I think Cook was listed at 243# for quite a while. He was 250# at one point, but they didn't change it. Recently, he was changed to 258# in his listed weight. Shaq was listed at 315# for most of the Laker years. We all knew he was 335-360#. _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. According to some, LO is more "ripped" than most.
As for Cookie being a "tub or lard," I"m not so sure what team you are watching.
Go Kwame! Go Cook!! Go LO!!! Go Lakers!!!! _________________ I recall a day when being a fan of the most storied franchise was a feeling of community. At the end of a day it (LG) should be a "For 'em!!!!!!!!!"

It's just that Cook has this hulking upper body and legs like tree trunks. Kwame will never be as big as Cook... |

It's funny when people think they're being clever, and then they just go making themselves look like morons. =)
Sorry bud, muscle weighs the same as fat. It is not 3 times heavier. Muscle is approximately 18% more dense than fat ... which is why you can pack more muscle into a given space than you can fat.
Here's proof.

Cute response though, really.
Density is what explains why the same amount of water weighs more than that same amount of ice. |

With that same thinking then you can say lead weighs the same as poop. Everything weighs the same. I explained it correctly by wording it correctly.
A fully hydrated muscle will weigh ruffly 3 times more than fat when there is an equal amount.
Like I said. If you have a cubic foot of muscle, it will weigh ruffly 3 times heavier than a cubic foot of fat.
Don't try and make me sound stupid. I worded it correctly so it makes sense. |
