like Del Harris not playing Kobe much early in his rookie year? Let him develop slowly, and not overwhelm him?
EDIT: DAMN, ''play'' was supposed to be "Phil" |

I've always said that he would get more time after the trade deadline when teams can stop demanding he be apart of every trade scenario. _________________ Stop crying and start doing.

That's the intention.
IMO Harris made a huge mistake because Kobe should have played much more as a rookie. His skill sets and athleticism were already so advanced he didn't really need to be brought along slowly. They sure didn't hesitate to throw him into the fire during that Utah series. At the time the Lakers had nobody that could take people off the dribble. Nick and Eddie were mainly shooters at this point.
A big reason Harris held him back was because a lot of other players were jealous (hello Shat). |
