Props to Kobe for showing up and actually caring. Greatly disappointed in the Laker bigs, especially Pau. I've seen preseason games filled with more passion than he is showing right now.

As sad as it makes me to say this,, Lakers just will NOT win it all this year.. Games against the Heat, Spurs and now Celdicks have show just how NOT dominant the lakers are anymore..

You know I keep hearing this about every game they lose but I just don't see the fire, heart, or intensity right now in these guys.

No worries this season will be the turning point for next season.

Agree. Frustrating thing is that if they actually played with effort, I think they would be right there. This team does not have what it takes to win a playoff series without home court which is what they're giving away. Lots of time to right the ship, but it's clear the Lakers are mailing in games with great regularity. They're tired.

Quality game. I didn't see the teamwork from LA this game, for whatever reason. Only 10 assists?

The bigs didn't seem to bring it and it seemed to be too much Kobe in the 4th. Not sure if that was a bad thing or not since he was converting, but it was a clear disparity to watch 1 vs 5 on one end and then see Boston teamwork on the other end.

Not surprisingly, the team that won the battle of the boards won the game. It seems to always be that way when you guys face off. If y'all meet in the Finals I think rebounding will be the difference. That and whether or not Ray Allen can hit his shots. If he is hitting Boston is pretty hard to beat.

Rondo still seems scared to shoot against y'all too....

Nope. They have no fire and any last spark of life was probably extinguished today. Unless there's a trade of significance, this team is deeply entrenched in a seemingly irrevocable funk. They are fat and happy and General Custer (aka Phil) chose his words well with this being a Last Stand.

Been through lean times with this team in the 90s w/ NVE/Ced/ECampbell and no matter what happens this season, I'm always sticking with them win or not, until the last second ticks off.

Got it wrong there, captain. Kobe never disappears. He might have a bad game from time to time or even a horrible one, but he plays hard every single time he steps on the floor, unlike some of the primadonnas we have on this team.

Kobe was at 7-9 at one point during the first half. They were up by a few points at the half. When the rest of the team started to shrink away during the 3rd/4th, that was when you saw Kobe's shot more often.

All of you guys are ridiculous. The regular season means absolutely nothing.

Does anybody even remember how horrible Boston looked last year? I know a lot of people didn't even think they would win the first round series against Miami.

I know it looks pretty bad right now, but the Lakers will be fine.

That one play is not why the Lakers lost.

Kobe can't win no matter what he does. He scores 41 and has a good game but the Lakers lose he is the bad guy he scores 15 they lose he's the bad guy. Kobe is the reason for all losses. Todays game had nothing to do with artest and fisher being 2-16 combined and scoring 5 points and the laker bench not counting odom scoring 9 freaking points. You same guys who whine about Kobe are the same ones who when lakers win have nothing but good things to say about Kobe.
