Odom went for 0-7 for 4 point.
Pau had the most rebound in this team.
Yet, everything is on Pau. How about our entire big men played like crap? And WHOLE team played defense like crap? |

and what bothers me.....is that he doesn't give a (bleep). he doesn't care. |
It's January.
It's no coincidence the LAkers and Celtics were both asleep tonight.
How many titles did the Lakers after Shaq left before Pau arrived ? |

Lazy play for 3 quarters. They play like they did in the fourth and it's a 15 point win even with Sacramento shooting out the lights. So frustrating to watch this team get lazy in stretches. Do they not care about home court. It's essential against just about any potential finals matchup except maybe Orlando. |

Traditionally, a team calls a timeout when the opposing team has a player that's hot - just won't miss from anywhere on the floor.
But not in this game. Phil pretty much took the wind out of Kobe's sails from the get-go. Sad to see this happen, despite a win or a loss.
However, this should shut Gasol up for the rest of the season. We now know that it's not a lack of touches that prevents Gasol from being a scoring force - it's the guy he sees in the mirror every morning that keeps him from doing what we've been used to seeing. |
That's exactly how I feel. The game was lost in the second quarter with that 8 minute rest that Kobe got. Resting the hot hand is just so unprecedented in today's game, there was absolutely no reason for it. Phil is slowly losing his touch in these games. I don't care if Kobe is "injured", if he's fine enough to score 21 in a quarter, he's fine enough to play majority of the game. |

I think that is why so much of the blame tonight is on Pau. He is supposed to be the 2nd constant apart from Kobe. You tout yourself as option 1B, you better bring it every night. You don't get to mail it in. |

Too many games this season where Pau was just horrible on both ends. _________________ Ringo "You retired too?"

It's the alarming number of losses like this so far is what is worrisome, BSH. |

You mean as opposed to the .500 record LA had after the AS break last year ?
Or when the '02 team started 11-19 ?
Same old Lakers. They'll be there when it matters. |
