This is not going to be a walk in the park. Beasley and Love are going to be a problem if the Lakers try and go out there and start coasting. _________________ The killer in me is the killer in you!

Nobody on the Wolves plays defense.

Wasn't such a walk in the park when they played here @ Staples, was it? _________________ The killer in me is the killer in you! |

That's exactly why it's going to be a walk in the park.
The nerve of the Wolves not knowing their place in the pecking order. Lakers are going to put the Wolves back in their place.
I suspect it's going to be a 20 point brutal drubbing. _________________ Before Lamar trade: Lakers-57 wins (2011)

That's cool as long as Love shoots 41% again and chucks his way to another loss.
And of course he's going to let Lamar shoot damn near 60%.
It's not a coincidence that Love is #2 on the Wolves in the MINUS category despite his seemingly godly stats.
Poor shooting + no defense = Minus stats
M. Beasley -22
K. Koufos -40
N. Pekovic -42
L. Hayward -65
L. Ridnour -76
D. Milicic -83
K. Love -88
W. Ellington -111 _________________ Before Lamar trade: Lakers-57 wins (2011)

Beasley has been on fire lately, however he's facing the best defender in basketball so I don't expect that to continue. _________________

Beasley is turning out to be a great scorer but the defense firm of Artest and Barnes will be ready. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

Wow is this one early; it'll be over by the time I roll in to watch.
No sticky on this thread yet; setting up another good luck charm?
Let's see if LO and Pau take Love's dominance on the boards last game personal... |

lol all above -40
Even Sasha and Luke don't have this kind of negative.
Are you sure that your stats is correct, Mr. Bynum4MVP? |

Yes Sir, Mr. Thurloly.
The Wolves are a losing team so it's natural that they will have most of their players in the MINUS territory.
You just have to grade among MINUS players and see who has the most minus. _________________ Before Lamar trade: Lakers-57 wins (2011)

I'm hoping both rookies get some PT this evening. If we're fortunate and have a blowout on our hands, I'm curious if Sasha will see the light of day again. If so I'll be curious if he learned anything from the Detroit fiasco. |

I wish Kurt luck, but not at the Laker's expense.
Last time LO matched up against Love he got no love from the refs. Last time, LO would find Love for the box out but as soon as he turned toward the hoop for a rebound Love went around him. If LO can't seal him on his back then he should front him the whole time to keep him off the glass, then let other Players fight for the board. Do that and we win. |
