First of all I just wanted to say hi. I've been lurking these forums for years but been too lazy to make an account until tonight when my blood began to boil. Hopefully I'll be active on these forums as I've been posting on ISH and RealGM for years now under different aliases.
After watching the events about Miami and Lebron these past two days I'm literally sick to my stomach from what I've seen. I recently moved into my new house and was watching the charade today in my garage when my neighbor walked over seeing the disgusted look on my face to greet me and the first thing he said was "don't worry we'll beat those (bleep) next year". In my 20 years of watching basketball and treating the Lakers like a religion I've never been so annoyed and angry at something out of my control. I honestly don't know how anyone outside of Miami could watch yesterday and today and not wonder what the (bleep) they just saw and heard. That underhanded compliment by Lebron to Kobe made me want to want to find the closest thing to me and beat it to a pulp. I didn't think it was possible but I'm already starting to hate this team beyond any level of hatred I've had for those douchebags in Boston.
After all this it makes me appreciate Kobe Bryant as a player, person and competitor that much more. Its eating me up so bad I wish the season would start tomorrow so we can take it to those three arrogant, front running sons of (bleep). |

I'm not even convinced that Miami will win their own conference. |

Lebron said he is going to win at least 7 rings. That is a slap to the face of Kobe right there! |

"Kobe Bryant shot 6-24 and still won the game because he had help. If any of us shot 6-24, that wouldn't be the case."
After all the times Kobe defended him from the media for the numerous things he has done I felt that was a (bleep) slap to Kobe. |

Thanks for sharing your first post on LG. I didn't particulary like the way Lebron decided to announce his decision. Lebron is still only 25 years old and has alot of maturing and growing up to do on and off the court. There is something about his attitude that rubs me the wrong way. Nobody can deny his talent when it comes to playing basketball. He has a God given gift. I am not angry that the "new" big 3 have joined forces in Miami. Got to the Miami organization and Pat Riley props. These 3 young guys sacrificed money to make this happen and I respect that. They want to win championships. I think it makes for good competition and will make the nba exicting to watch for the next decade. As a long time Laker fan I welcome the challenge and hope that we will have many final battles with them during this new decade. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

Have them try it with only two good fingers and a recently drained knee. |

Even Bill Simmons would pull passionately for The Lakers against Miami at this point.
Something is terribly wrong. |
