I was impressed with Shannon's defense on Williams in the halfcourt sets. Williams did most of us damage in transition or against Fish.

The Lakers allowed Utah to shoot 56% in the 1st and 4th quarters, but did manage to play a little defense in the 3rd.

Fortunately, the Lakers shot 62% in the final stanza and 56% for the game. The addition of Okur will help the Jazz offense, but not their defense. The Lakers should be able to out score them most of the time.

It is, of course, on defense where the Lakers can, and need to, be much more consistent.

All in all, I'm not too concerned with them getting by the Jazz.
