The defense was hideous as well ...... how many wide open 3's did the Hawks take??? |

the lakers have the dumbest (bleep) guards in the league. we had gasol red hot and creating open looks for others when he was doubled and what do we do? we jack up jumper after jumper after jumper after jumper after jumper after jumper after jumper without even letting gasol touch the ball for whole quarters.
(bleep), luke walton was the only guy besides gasol and maybe fish who played well today. |

Off by 4 -- didn't think the Lakers were playing all that well these days as the bench is completely off their game. I just don't see the Lakers taking it all w/o Bynum or the bench. One thing you can say about the Cavs bench is they have energy 24hrs a day; whereas, the Lakers being better skilled have no zeal or desire. |

it's one game where vlad will likely be paying attention. i would imagine the impaler will show up next game and afterwards will immediately vacate for the cadet. |

Tough loss since it pretty much takes us out of the running for homecourt assuming we make it to the finals and match up against Cleveland, but I kind of saw this one coming. With this game and the Charlotte and Portland ones (on top of Cleveland's home heavy schedule) it looked like it was going to end up this way. It's a bad spot to be in because while Boston is definitely the most unfavorable matchup, it's hard to hope you meet a team that only lost once at home the entire year--not to mention what I imagine the officiating would look like. Now we're in a delicate spot where we definitely have to cut back on some minutes while not getting too reckless. We have some nice space on Boston and we'll probably want to cut into Gasol's time, but you have to be careful not to totally blow it and give Boston the better record (though that would take some unbelievably stupid play on our part).
I think adjustments definitely have to be made this point forward though since best overall is extremely unrealistic and attempting it any further isn't worth the risk. |

LOL totally forgot about that, umm for scrub of the game I'll go with, Maurice Evans, , I don't consider him a scrub though.
But I can see Ariza defending Joe Johnson and Kobe leaving Evans wide open for 3's. anti-jinx! |
So today we have a 3way tie for scrub of the game
Flip Murray 14 pts, 2 stls, 2 assts.
Mo Evans 13 pts, 6 rebs, 3-5 3pt
Zaza Pachulia 11 pts, 13 rebs, 3 asst - props to who called this one a fcking double double for ZAZA!!!!?!?!

Todays loss and 76er loss has ended Kobe's chances of winning MVP.
LeBron is going to finish with the best NBA record and MVP. |
