So 67% shooting isn't acceptable? Better chance of coming back with high percentage shots. |
I can't belive you guys are defending Pau. Pau doesn't have the guts he couldn't even get post position against that Amu what ever his name is. |

Lakers have 3rd easiest schedule last 22 games. They have to make up some road games, but most teams have weak records.
Lakers go 18-4 the rest of way IMO. |

get it? |
Kobe should have obviously dialed down with his shooting and pass the ball more. I mean, doesn't he know that we only lose games when he takes more than 21 shots? The moment he fired off his 20th FGA, he should've gone into pass mode.
Too bad, a lick of defense and a little less stupid TOs and we win this. |

I agree that was not the moment for Pau, but if Bryant does not realize that the fact that such a skilled scorer as Pau does not deserve to shoot less than half of Kobe´s number of shots, then Phil should have the balls to tell him. The truth is Pau is the one who has a bigger chance to put the ball in, so simple |

Not going to pull off any miracles with twos. |
just probably mathematically challenged. LOL |
No, just understand the game. Obviously, the 3 game hardly ever works. Get Gasol the ball underneath and you have at least 2, maybe 3. Prevent offense never wins. |
we lose either way, get 2 pts, foul, then pray they miss both...still down 3, w/c boils down to the Lakers needing a 3pointer or a miracle the Suns foul on a dunk or they foul us, make the first FT, we get the rebound and score off a follow dunk. all scenarios very unlikely. so nitpicking on a 3-pointer down 5, is way out of this world...the 3-pointer was actually justified. _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. agreed but with 14 secs left its all or nothing. not enough time left to get a 2 and foul. earlier in the game yes, but not there. and my point was pau has got to hit that shot not airball it. he cant say oh well i airballed at least i shot 67% for the game. _________________ "When (Kobe) gets you on life support, he won't give you mouth to mouth. I'm not saying Kobe made all the right decision but our defense is horrible and other than Kobe and Pau no one really stepped up. |

It shouldn't have to come at the expense of Kobe's attempts. Take some attempts away from the scrubs. |

This is 80% of why the Lakers lost.
The only way to beat the Lakers is if you're playing them 8 on 5.
Anytime the Lakers got momentum, the refs killed it with touch fouls.
Sorry - it's the truth. |

Obviously Kobe forced some shots tonight, when he should have penetrated a little bit more. But, it doesnt help when your teammates were shooting abysmal and were not moving when Kobe had the rock. |

You just don't look at the percentages. Pau was hestitant to shoot or post up Shaq because he can't. Pau got most of his point from tip ins, fastbreaks, and when Shaq wasn't on the floor. |

yeah, I think Kobe shot 8 shots more than he should, although 47% is acceptable. I still argue we could've gone to Pau more often, problem is Pau, if the defense cuts him off, will pass it out back again. _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. Exactly, if Pau would just shoot when he's open, he'd have plenty of attempts. Much easier for him to let Kobe do the heavy lifting. _________________ The heroes of the past are untouchable, protected forever by the fortress door of time-unless some mysterious stranger magically turns up with a key. |

I've been at work and was only able to stream some of the 4th.
But I trust GTL's opinion more than almost everyone on here, so if he's unhappy with Kobe today, then so am I.
For those of you attacking GTL, he's one of the biggest Kobe suppoters on here.
I, for one, applaud the guy to be able to make paragraph long posts about how Kobe > MJ (although I'm not quite there yet) and then be able to make posts like he did in here.
Thanks GTL for your absolute awesomeness! We could use more posters like you who just spit that realness. |

Four losses is utterly unacceptable, you know that. I'd say LG will allow one loss, perhaps two, but no more. There will be rioting on the streets if four. And I don't wanna even think about what would happen if they lose five games from here on. |

It's annoying how this team always plays down to their competition. You can't tell me a team that could beat Boston and Cleveland on the road without Bynum couldn't beat a Suns team missing Nash and Amare. Just a very lazy effort. Suns were hungrier for the win and guess what, they got it.
I hope they actually come to play against Memphis because contrary to what the Lakers believe, you do actually play your game if you want to win; regardless of the opponent. |

sure kobe was making 47% of his shots but his shots were mostly long contested jump shots. while gasol was making over 60% of his inside the paint against Shaq who we should've attacked constantly. |

This is what I am saying and I think this is why Pau is called soft. When do you see Pau deep in the post and saying give the damm ball not too many times. He couldn't he get good position against Amu |
