This was also a poorly officiated game. A slight bump on Paul means foul . . . Pau and Kobe get raped=refs look the other way |

It happens to every team. The spurs gave up a 3 to kobe in the last 15 seconds; they won it with Mason's shot. The Hornets just gave up a tying 3. Earlier in the year the Celtics gave up a go-ahead three to the Hawks with less than 10 seconds left, but won it on Pierce's buzzer-beater. It's not unique to the Lakers, it seems like it because we watch more of their games, ut the Lakers over the last few years have benefited just as much from late 3s as they've been hurt. |

What are you talking about. Lakers are the ONLY team in the league that make mistakes, everyone else is perfect! All the time! _________________ *sighs*

The bench players were awful, all of them. They almost cost the win. |

The bench and Philips insistence on leaving them in there half way through the 4th almost cost them a game. I understand Philips decisions on not calling timeouts and leaving some guys in there to get some experience in pressure times, but he let it go way too long already knowing the bench just wasnt on today and that even the starters were a little off on offense. |

Blatant reaches, pushes, and grabs.
I wanted to strangle that scrawny white ref running the far court. |

i thought john stockton was one of the best players i'd ever seen, along with mcfail at drawing phantom fouls - they now all pale in comparison to CP3. but if you can get away with it, all the power to you. _________________ "i was born down in the valley where the sun refused to shine, but i'm climbin' up to the highlands, goin' to make that mountain mine" ~ Lakers, 2011 |

P Jax Interview:
- Wasn't happy with the game, I thought we made it a lot harder on ourselves, but you'll have to give "Orlando" (lol) credit, they came out in the 4th qtr and hit a bunch of threes. (When told he said Orlando) Oh. Yep, New Orleans.
-I thought our defense collapsed a lot and allowed their 3 pt shooters to get their shots.
-Reserves didn't find their way in the second period and gave up the 8 pt lead we had going in. Kept them in as long as he did because he didn't want to destroy their confidence.
-(Regarding Kobe steppin' up in OT after a "sub-par" game) PJ: "Keep going to the wall, eventually that sh*t's going to stick.... and eventually it did. Earlier on was settling for jump shots that he felt he was being fouled on." _________________ Rest In Paradise Kobe & GiGi |

Was he the only white ref?
Or is "white ref" the only description your brain recognizes? |

Walton and Fish earned their money tonight. Until o.t, that was one of the worst games I've seen Kobe play on both sides of the ball. Nobodies perfect. |

Yes it is (or was). BSPN strikes again. |
BSPN strikes again.. another win gifted to the lakers. Fouling out Paul with Kobe's push... |
Cry me a river. New Orlean lost. Don't even start with the ref excuse. |
