that was funny...
his comment about Lee being a scoring machine was priceless as well. _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. Thing about tonight is, I saw Kobe take ONE forced shot all night... ONE!
He absolutely commanded the ball at times, and without a doubt he was relentless in attacking. Yet, he still found a way to get it done within the offense... if that even makes sense.
A few of the best plays... ok, that's a lie... but, some of the better plays were those where he completely set the D up purposely playing decoy then made the great pass for the easy basket.
NY was damned if they did, damned if they didn't.
Best offensive game I've EVER seen Kobe play... 81 pt. game included!!! |

Just wanted to add that I'm pretty impressed with the Knicks tv presentation tonight. The announcers weren't bad at all and the post-game show is not a hometeam-fest. Not bad at all. |

But it's great to be in New York tonight. Stuck at work but taped the game and all the postgame on MSG network. That tape will go in the permanent vault. and I can't wait to get all the New York papers tomorrow. |

I'm not usually as dizzy about his big scoring games (since 81 at least), but I enjoyed this one thoroughly. From Jackson letting him do it, probably just to humiliate NY, to the number of Knicks fans I've read gloating and cheering Bynum's injury. Bleep them. They deserve another heaping of historical shame, even better that Kobe deleted the all-time record from one of their beloved heroes. Even better that Dan Tony was there to allow it w/ defensive schemes that make us look good by comparison.
LUV IT, Kobe. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL

2nd game I missed. At least the Lakers won. It's a shame that I missed this game though because I never thought Kobe would erupt for anymore 50+ point games in the foreseeable future given how much talent he has around him now. |

Seconded.
Someone posted early in the thread (I think it was this thread...) that the Knicks have the best announcers in the NBA. Being a Laker fan I'm gonna have to say 2nd best but they are certainly right there and the argument can be made that now that Chick is gone (RIP!) NY has the best crew.
I also liked how they have D'Antoni mic'd up all week and showed the pregame strategy and planning in the locker room. Overall, top notch basketball presentation for the NY fans - props to the whole Knicks TV crew. |
