The way we were shooting the three, we would probaly have lost the game if we didn't go to Gasol/Bynum like we did. And especially against teams like Golden State, that is the way we have to play.

I'm just glad we won the game, now lets move on. Indiana and Miami coming up next in Staples, and after loosing to both earlier this season, motivation shouldn't be a problem

Thanks, DB. I was concerned going into this game for various reasons. I'm just glad that we got a W, especially since it was on the road and winning on the road in the NBA isn't easy IMO. I said this last night and I'll say it again, when has an MVP ever received so little respect? Kobe knew we were in the penalty, he attacked the rim and got no calls. I said it was a joke last night and I still feel the same way. Those officials weren't watching the same game I was last night. I like how Trevor shot more from about twenty feet. He shot the ball well from that distance. I like the minutes that Powell gave us last night. I hope his daughter is feeling better. Sasha's shot was really off last night. Thanks again, DB.

somebody needs to tell sasha to take a cue from ariza. ariza clanked 3ptr after 3ptr in the last game, so what does he do last night? he takes a step or two in from the arc and rains down midrange shots. hello, sasha?

Ariza once visited the Virgin Islands.

Now they just call them the Islands.

I have been on this site since the days of Just the Stats Ma'am and have been an avid reader of your ratings posts. I don't think I have ever left a comment, but had to drop one here. That was one of the better sports analysis that I have had the pleasure of reading. Well done sir. I know we all deeply appreciate your efforts.

Thanks, BleedP&G... post here some more.

A few other things -

1. The loss of our facilitators (Luke, Lamar, and Farm) was evident in this game. It seems Lamar was able to hold the fort down but now it has come unraveled. There were a few offensive sequences where I actually thought the play had been whistled dead. No one was moving what so ever.

We'll have to keep an eye on it. It's been clunky to the point that they look tired with how little movement there has been and how much settling for threes we see.

Scary thought of the day - Fish is more dangerous pulling up for a contested 3 pointer on the break than taking it to the hole. Same for Sasha.

Cars stop at railroad crossings, but freight trains stop at Ariza crossings...

Nice write-up DB, couldn't stop laughing for a long time after reading the Ariza recap and replies. Ppl thought I'd gone looney today.... gotta love this place.
