Defensively he's arguably our best player. Bynum has really fallen off on the board and blocks. _________________ Ringo "You retired too?"

Kobe, Gasol, Odom and Ariza all showing up tonight. Fish too for that matter in the second half.
Bynum -- 24 minutes, 2 rebounds. Utah rebounding edge kept it close, thats on Drew.
At least we had the right 5 on the floor when it counted. |

I agree...and Bynum needs to step it up. He's a huge bust right now. Giving him that big contract early is a mistake which I was against all along. We should've waited to see how he did this year. |

PJ's Interview:
-Great run in the 1st half, lost energy at the end of the 2nd qtr.
-Disappointed they didn't get tacos for the fans.
-Defense should have played better.
-Trevor had 2 game changing plays.
-Didn't play the kind of 3rd qtr he wanted to see them play. _________________ Rest In Paradise Kobe & GiGi |

I see that DWill shot 4-18. How much of that was Trevor? I missed 45 minutes of the game (Damn you Mrs. Texas_Pete!! ) and listening to post game comments. They are mostly talking about Trevor's impact. |

Ariza brings it every second that he's out there on the court, Bynum looks like he's really just dogging it lately, I don't know if there's anything that's bothering him physically, maybe that floating bone spur is acting up. _________________ Ringo "You retired too?"

Lets put it this way, on a night when Kobe gets 40, Pau gets 20 and reaches his career 10,000 point mark, they interviewed Trevor Ariza. |

Thanks dude. This is a trend IMO. The only perimeter player that got off on us this year was AI. Can't say the same about CP3, Dwill, Nash, Tmac, Rondo, Brandon Roy, Melo...

well, no more Joel Meyers creaming his pants of Deron Williams until the next time they play. I swear, he sounds like Jon Barry talking about Steve Nash. |

Except for the fact that he wasn't playing well. In case you haven't noticed, we have two 7 footers and one of them seems to be able to play through his fatigue pretty well. | Andrew was changing a LOT of shots around the rim and recorded a number of swats as well. His defense was solid, albeit not explosive tonight. His rebounding could have been a bit better, but many sequences where he could have gotten board it was either snatched up by a teammate or Drew was forced to defend 2 players by himself, and after forcing one miss the other player was in position for the putback. That doesn't change the fact that between Lamar, Pau, and Drew, he is and was tonight our most aggressive and consistent intimidator inside. Only reason we didn't miss him as much tonight as we have at times was because all of the damn turnovers Trevor was forcing at the end of the game.
His effort has been a bit lax, but damn, he's sitting behind players he is clearly superior to. It's happened to me before, and I've seen it happen to others. It always affects their play. I'm not excusing it, but if Drew were consistently closing games and getting 32+ minutes like he was when he was in rhythm last year, a lot of our complains about him wouldn't even be an issue. Phil is just completely mishandling the situation, and IMO if we don't see this trend change we might have to move Lamar, if for nothing else, to FORCE Phil to put our BEST lineup out there at the end of games. |

Wow, just got back from the epic fail Ducks game in which they lost. Good to see the Lakers won. Kobe put up 40!
Not happy to see a craptastic performance from Bynum though. 8 points and only 2 rebounds? And 3 point chucking Euro vagina man Mehmet Okur got 21 and 13? Weak. |
