not so surprising for garnett. his 3 inside shots that i can remember were all wide open, nobody nearby for contact. everything else was an outside jumper.
kobe actually drove quite a bit this game. the refs were just letting ray allen get away with a lot of bumping and grinding tonight. at least they called it pretty evenly for both sides; the lakers didn't pick up too many ticky tacks besides the two flops by pierce against luke. |

What a game. |
ha! i've almost thrown my remote at my tv a few times watching laker games. tonight was nothing! PAUUUUUUUU BABY! |
Oh, I know. I've broken many remotes during Laker games over the year. I think the official count is up to 5. Never threw them at my TV, though... can't break the plasma. _________________ Jeffs

That was beautiful, I went absolutely insane the last four minutes, the Pau block to Ariza dunk; i've never been so nervous watching someone I know is so accomplished a finisher on the break though, that dunk was a big moment and he'd already missed one trying to get fancy. But that was the play that straight ripped out their spine. Boston went to their gameplan to get the ball to Ray Allen for the three and he gets blocked...by GASOL?! Then that dunk (which was NICE too), the crowd goes insane and that was it, game over boston, 19 wins doesn't mean (bleep) to us!
I said before the game if they win this game easily it'd be an awesome christmas but if they win it in a close competitive game it'd be one of the best one's ever. We beat Boston at their own game tonight, we made their little protege PG play like crap and Bynum, oh good lord bynum...
Ok I'm gushing now haha, excellent, EXCELLENT game by the lakeshow by pretty much all involved. What an incredible game, what an incredible christmas.
EMBRACE THIS (bleep) LAKERS FANS HAHA. |

It's too bad it won't be called the same in Boston. I expect another bogus Leon-Powe-getting-more-free-throws-than-the-entire-Laker-team crap. |

just a little bit of emotion and effort goes a long away on defensive end. |
Gasol would be the best big man on the league if he would have more mentality, he has more skills than anyone player, even Garnett, but he needs confidence in those big matches. If Gasol can play in the future all the match with that energy, L.A have no rival. Gasol playing well makes better the rest of the team.

Not only the playmaking in the 4th, but, if anything shows Kobe's activity and energy level, it's the rebounding. Kobe should be dominant on the boards especially when the opponents have two big men who can easily box out and be physical with lakers' big men. |

I think games like this one will make him stronger, to tell you the truth. Kobe gets cut from the offense and others are dared to make shots... he dared and he made them. If that's not a lesson in character building I don't know what is.
Great game, again, I don't feel like going to sleep, because I can't stop grinning ... |

Look like the Media wants to give it to James this season, but there still a way to go and hope KB win his second MVP |

My family was running scared when the hated Celtics took the one point lead in the 4th quarter, but Pau came thru and now we are going to have a pleasant Christmas Dinner!
