Not that it matters, but I'm deliberately not watching this game.
1. Chalmers is going to have a career night against Fisher and Farmar.
2. We play like crap on the road.
3. Nationally televised game ... biggest embarrassment of the season.
I'll read DancingBarry's recap. |

Whew. I have those fears as well, but will take a few peeks and watch anyway. Difficult season so far for having such an excellent record. Every report and comment is mostly cup-half-full these days. It's like the team is in the toilet, not where they are. Two years ago, if I'd have wished for a team like this with Pau and Andrew's emergence and even the problems with Luke, Radman and Farmar, I'd have been very happy to have what we have now. Still, wishing perfection and consistency from this group is troublesome - they don't play up to their potential (which we all seem to perceive as very dominating.) Imagine being a fan in Milwaukee or Seattle (now OakCity?) Now, those situations are perpetually empty cups. |

Wade and Chalmers are going to well ... make us grab some ankles if we don't play a much better defensive game in the backcourt. Do not reach, do not play them close guys. Neither are good 3 point shooters, neither are naturally good shooters from anywhere but close to the paint.
If Pau plays, I see our size advantage and depth off the bench just too much for them.
It'll be a tough game, but the Lakers should take this if Pau plays. If the Laker guards play the Heat backcourt for dribble penetration and not for steals/pressure D, I see the Lakers winning this one without much trouble. |

Kobe and Pau will rest the fourth. _________________ "After watching Bryant and Cooper go at it for about 10 minutes West stood up, nodded at two team public-relations men he'd brought with him, and snapped, 'That's it, let's get out of here, I've seen enough. either we
A)get blown out because our defense is a joke

How many wide open threes does Daequan Cook get tonight? Will Joel Anthony go for a career high?
Please pound these scrubs inside.

Chris Quinn torches the Lakers for 30pts - 10ast, feeds Joel Anthony an alley-oop by bouncing it off of Farmar's ear. _________________ The Man who Built the Great Western Forum

Kobe holds Wade to 6/24 shooting for only 18 points and 5 TOs. Kobe goes for 34 points on 12/22 shooting and Lakers win 109-94. |

Wow... sure, we have yet to play up to our capability... but we will kill the Heat. We're totally due for a game where we play solid, even flex a bit. |
