Phoenix has been one of the better teams so far this season. I hope we bring out our A game and demolish them on both ends of the floors like we did to teams in the first few games. Make a statement, that we're clear cut top dogs in the pacific. |

Big test for the Lakers tonight... watching Phoenix play, they've looked more impressive than anyone else in the West to me thus far.
PG - Fisher v. Nash
SG - Kobe v. Bell
SF - Vlad v. Barnes
PF - Gasol v. Amare
C - Bynum v. Shaq
Our bench should have a field day with their's though. We killed them last year, we should be able to do the same... but it will take defense and toughness against a semi-revitalized Shaq. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

I expect Kobe to have his first 40+ point game of the season tonight. _________________ Lakers will win the West, then lose in 2009 Finals to Cavs, Boston or Detroit. We are still soft. |

i don't believe the suns defense can match up against the lakers. as long as the lakers run their offense smoothly, they should be able to get any shot they want. on the other hand, i don't think gasol is going to have an easy time against amare and bynum is going to have his hands full with shaq.
this should be a great game |

Barbosa will be in Brazil until Friday. So they just lost their bench. _________________ Think about how stupid the avg. person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

|
Cross your fingers the start of the game is not pre-empted yet again by the Boston Celtics inability to close a game in a normal amount of time.
I hate following those chuckle-heads on double-header telecasts, and it seems to happen more and more these days. Watching the end of a close game (which will probably happen tonight) while hoping they get it done "before" tip off is like watching paint dry.
Cleveland seems to be 2nd worse in this department.
Cross your fingers for a televised tip off!!! |

Pick and roll all night.
Defensively my biggest concern is Pau. He can't be falling asleep when he is on the weakside defensively. Has to keep Amare off the boards. |

Tonight's game is going to be funny. Not trying to diss Shaq here, but I sense a Bynum throwdown in Shaq's face. _________________ LAkers 4 Life- "I think the refs are still calling fouls on the Lakers even during the press conference." |

I can see Shaq eating Bynum alive. Shaw is easily motivated and Bynum is still recovering. All I can hope is that Bynum doesnt try to outdo Shaq and in the process gets hurt. |

I´m quite sure that Amare is going to score 25/30 points. He´s almost unstoppable and the rest of the team is not as solid as previous years, so he´ll receive the ball a lot. But I´m not worried about that, as long as the rest of the Suns don´t have an easy job.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to switch Pau onto Shaq and Drew onto Amare.
Drew's length gives Amare problems... big problems, and Shaq ain't the offensive juggernaut he once was. |
