so while everyone went out and spent all of their capspace on one player, i decided to go and actually create a bench.
lets see how this bold philosophy plays out. you know, that radical idea called depth. |

Jeffs - thanks. I wasn't talking about you. They know who they are - LOL.
Agreed on Kareem being right up there for GOAT.
And to be GOAT one has to play the position for a long period of time and excel. You can't play every position in one game and claim to be GOAT at every position, especially when you never did it again. But thats just me I guess. |

and KJ with the 12.2 apg year works better with Kobe.. I predict the magnetic field on that basketball will be so disrupted by the pull between Kobe's Hand and AI's Hand that it will implode and cause anti matter to leak from the 7th Dimension. Now pay attention folks. First time in history of the ATL that the Space and Time Continuum will be broken.. this will allow Hiroshima to get both Baylor and Russell to join their team. THIS IS HIS PLAN _________________ Want Some Pancakes? |

okay, good...as long as you have a plan...
that is the beauty of the ATL...if you can convince the judges how the combination that you have put together will work, you win.
I'm not a judge, so like others I am seeing a team with two shooting guards who score 30 ppg and like Caveman Lawyer says, "your world confuses me..."
So, it sounds like you have too many shooting guards...which one are you going to deal to me? |

Iverson can play Point.
You guys can laugh at my master plan, but in the end they will be weeping when my team leaves them in the dust and wins whatever it is we are trying to win. _________________ The only thing standing between me and greatness, is me. |

I agree that AI can play point guard...
so can Kobe...
so can Sean Elliott, Antonio McDyess, A Train...
it just doesn't appear to be his best position...he's got the assist numbers, I will give you that...but if the guy is shooting 20 times a game, that doesn't yell out "sharing the ball"...even if the stats say point guard, the perception of AI is shoot first, shoot second, and shoot third...shoot ninth...where does that leave Kobe?
I may be wrong, and if others feel different, please express your opinion...and change my mind... |

Which master plan is this now...
Master plan A was to draft and keep your 2nd and 3rd round picks.
Master plan B had to involve signing Tim Duncan.
That leaves Master plan C, the current version in which two balls will be put in play at the same time in a historic first. |

Two balls........nine kidneys.......and some radiation-resistant suits, which will assuredly slow the pace down a tad. |

Until someone facilitates my acquisition of a two-way SF, all of your teams suck. |

Wait a minute folks. stop the presses. did i just read in Fullerton poor teachers thread that he wants to trade Earl the pearl? So let me make sure i have this correctly.
He had to have a pg. so he traded Grant hill for earl to the guy who has Mjay and now tim duncan(fa pickup). and now he wants to say good bye to the pearl. Where is the head shaking emoticon guys. i told you when the move was made it was a bad move. now it has gone from bad to "what the ..." were you thinking making that original trade to begin with? |

Kinda quiet in here considering there is only 24 hours left to make moves and some teams are so poorly constructed and others still have not filled their rosters. |

My expectation is that there will be an avalanche of moves that happen before the deadline with HOF players being traded, slick two for one moves to somehow get under the cap, one of a kind moves to bring together superteams, and surprise signings of explosive free agents who change the balance of power as we know it in the ATL...
but ask me again later when the mushrooms wear off... |
