In your opinion whats the scariest movie of all time? I decided to check some lists on the internet but they were all pretty much random. No one agreed with each other.
i don't really know if it would qualify as scary, but one of the most bizarre movies i have ever seen was called the cannibal holocaust. I know the movie is banned in a couple of countries. Anyone else happen to see it? I swear i couldn't eat for a couple of hours after seeing it, just wanted to vomit everywhere a la family guy

as a kid Halloween was the movie that freaked me out ... because you can really imagine a dude standing across the street from your house with that mask on and just staring at ya crib ........
Thats what a lot of people say but I just don't know. I just have trouble buying the fact that a movie that old could possibly be scarier than todays movies which have much much better special effects.

Today's horror movies are CRAP! im sorry but even with all the special effects that make it hella cheesy and fake to me Exorcist is still freaky as hell because there are no special effects and it plays mind games more than anything and lastly people do get possessed in real life LOL _________________ "He can't guard Kobe Bryant... only God can"-Charles Barkley

special effects don't make a movie better. Have you seen The Exorcist or The Shining? _________________ Thank you, Kobe. We love you.
I think it depends upon your level of expectation and mood. I was expecting standard hollywood sci-fi despite the advertisements. It was right after mid-terms, so I was in the right (sensory deprived) mood. The movie was so damn scary, I had to get up and walk away fairly early in the movie.
I decided to watch it a second time, and I didn't find it the least bit scary.
