Okay trying to generate some more votes. I'll give it a day and post the leader and the stats as well as the year tomorrow! Come on people just take a shot! I promise I won't block it! _________________ "Hate that I'm a veteran and a champion, hate that.

Hmm… I know Thurmond had the first quadruple-double in NBA history.
Kareem, Elvin Hayes and Elmore Smith all lead the league in blocks at least once if memory serves.
Actually, I had season tickets for the 73/74 season so I'll go with Elmore Smith. He was a blocking machine
I think Elmore had the most blocks in one game too, but don't remember how many. |

wierd, but cbs sportsline.com has 74-75 but it was 73-74 when it started and Elmore Smith led all players, second was Kareem. Just a thought, had Wilt not retired at the end of the 72 season and stayed two more years it would be interesting to see what he would have averaged!
1)Elmore averaged 4.86
2)Kareem averaged 3.49
