Man. Tyrus Thomas is going to be a stud. _________________ Kobe Bryant has brought the Lakers three championships, 4 Finals, carried an absolutely pathetic team to the playoffs in a loaded Western Conference and has given us countless thrills and memories. If you are not a Kobe fan, then you are not a Laker fan. |

Kobe can top out at 48%.
I don't see Kobe ever reaching 50% for an entire season.
Does he have the ability to? Yes. No question.
I just don't see him ever sustaining that percent over the course of a season. |
Agreed.
Some folks used to say Kobe taking end of the shot clock shots because of poor offensive sets as part of the reason.. but that's not even the case this year.. it's on Kobe.. the "F-it" threes from so far out, for example. |

Cook with 0 points as a starting PF and all he contributes is an outside shot. So why is he starting again? |

Indeed.
A lot of it is on Kobe. That's just who he is. Year 12, I doubt things change. Those "what in the hell are you thinking" shots are not going to stop anytime soon. Provides some nice highlight reel stuff, but also hurts his percent in the long run.
Just one factor of many. |
