I am getting a feeling it may be D Fish.
Makes sense for G State to dump him with the Allan Houston rule (maybe Foyle will be dropped instead), he knows the Tri, and he is well liked by many in LA.
Given PJ's penchant for not playing youth, I have omitted Von, Smush and Sasha. _________________ To be the champion, one doesn't have to be the best team in the country, just the best team each time one plays.

Going Lue starting due to his Tri knowledge but fully expect a DA type backing him up. |

I am not sure Lue is good enough, even with his Tri experience.
Interesting.
Others left off were someof the big name pipes, and Kareem Rush. _________________ To be the champion, one doesn't have to be the best team in the country, just the best team each time one plays.

Payton with Wafer backing him up is not bad. Now that I think about it, a Kobe, Payton and Wafer rotation is not bad at all. As much as I like Griffin, he'll be redundant, and since we won't be keeping him beyond 2007, his upside is useless(unless we change our plan and decide that there is too much talent to let go for the 2007 capspace plan) |

I've been hearing Jalen's name more than Anderson and Paytons of late.

I don't think Rose is in the picture at least not amnesty wise. Would have to be a S&T.
Toronto won't be over the threshold to use amnesty per Sky. _________________ Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital ingredient in beer. |

Griffin? As in Eddie?
Or were you referring to Kwame?

What a joke. You object to question about Kobe and Shaq but replied to a subject you, me or everyone is not sure yet? Good job, dude.
Same goes to TI. What a lame judgment of others.
How do I know who will start? I dont even know who the PGs are!
Can we get any more stupid than asking whether Kobe or Shaq first to win a ring? |

Yeah, Eddie Griifin. What people don't realize is that Payton averaged 11 and 6 last year and his height can still bother people. |

Rose/GP/Smush |
Toronto fans have said that Jalen can score, but the ball tends to stagnate in his hand and he can't play defense. IMHO, that is a guy we should keep FAR away from the Lakers.
"Jalen defintley needs to bounce for us to go somewhere, i mean sure the man can score but he defeats the purpose of ball movement, he stands there jabs...goes into the post and lets a fadeaway fly." _________________ Black Panther is Batman, done better.

I am saying again that it will be GP...
Just takes too much sense.
Lakers need a starting PG who is willing to take a two-year deal. Payton is the best they can get under this criteria.
As for GP... he wants to come back to the West Coast to be closer to his family (and his favorite strip clubs )... seems to me like lots of west coast teams could really use his services, but only one can offer him a starting spot. That is why he will come back to the Lakers. _________________ -

Want Watson and then Jaric or Jalen but those are total pipes as usual so we'll probably end up with someone like Fisher. I like the guy a lot but he sucks a player _________________ "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." - Albert Einstein |

Please no. Sasha is horrible, but I wouldn't mind if DA, Rose, Watson, or GP came. |

I think it is Derek Anderson. He fits the Jackson mold and would be a nice addition. Lue will be the bench player is my opinion with Sasha looking on. The NBDL may be Sasha's next move if he don't play D |
