The fact that anyone would deign to put it on an underrated list makes it overrated IMO. Caspar van Dien couldn't act like he was burning if you lit him on fire. The fact that its co-ed shower scene is the most talked about element, even among its fans, is all you need to know...
I nominate "Into the Wild". I know it was Oscar nominated, but while the discussion was between "No Country for Old Men" and "There Will Be Blood", this gem was the best of the 3. _________________ “We must always take sides. I don't know if this movie is considered underrated but I don't hear much about it-- "Match Point" is one of my faves.
I like Match Point but it's pretty much a retread of Allen's "Crimes and Misdemeanors" which is a lot better. I highly recommend it. _________________ 14-5-3-12

Is Midnight Run underrated? I rarely if ever find anyone who doesn't really like that movie. Who would have thought that Deniro and Groden would make such a wonderful comic team? _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. I listed Midnight Run as well... I agree, you rarely find anyone who doesn't really like it, however finding somebody that's seen it is the reason I listed it...
