I have a bad feeling about the next game.
NBA wants the Lakers to lose to generate some Championship excitement.
To promote its 2-3-2 format - the visiting team needs to take at least one of the first 2 games.
For Lakers to be up 2 games going to Orlando knowing games 6 and 7 are back in LA - would be disastrous to NBA.
I forsee multiple Lakers in foul trouble, and Orlando getting to the line at will.
Have they announced the refs for Game 2 - and do they have a track records of calling against the Lakers?
Lakers for their part should just keep on playing - are you listening Gasol ?
No point whining - just keep moving and we might have a shot. |

They got to the foul line in game 1. Lakers will deal with it. |

*Sigh* Didn't we just complain about having terrible anti-Kobe refs in game one, a game where they shot more FTs despite few points in the paint and big foul trouble? I don't see what more the NBA could do to disadvantage the Lakers. _________________ On pick and roll defense.

+1
If there was a conspiracy in the NBA, LeBron would be in the Finals shooting 20 FTs a game. |

Lakers shot 2 free throws in the first quarter and Orlando shot 14..if that wasn't a fix for Orlando I don't know what is, yet we won by 25. Dan Crawford and Mauer, two of the biggest Laker haters were refereeing and we STILL won..nuff said..if we can deal with those two, we can deal with anyone. This is how the NBA works, if a team is playing well and aggressive, the refs will give them the calls, if they don't, the refs won't help them |

I saw a lot of plays in last night's game that reminded me of Game 1 against Boston last year where Boston would go after the loose balls and bully their way to a rebound. The Lakers bullied Orlando last night. I loved every minute of it. The Magic can make all the adjustments in the world but they are still a jump shooting team and it is a make or miss league. I don't think the Lakers are going to blow the Magic out on Sunday because Orlando will shoot better, but the Lakers are still going to win. _________________ The killer in me is the killer in you! |

Theres alot of pressure on the league this year so they cant get cute any more.
Also, last year alot of people were saying the same thing that the Lakers would take 1 and it would be a battle. Never happened _________________ 237 |

I don't believe the lakers would (in the first half at least) get into any more foul trouble than they did yesterday.
Refs for a game are announced the morning of the game..at 9am, eastern, so another 36hrs..
Have a drink (or two).. that's how i'm pacing myself |

The magic overcame the officiating. The referees did the best they could to pamper lebron's butt. _________________ https://psntrophyleaders.com/user/view/tenike1

I don't know if you saw him or heard that quote, but it is the most un-emotional comment I've heard from him. Monotone. Business.
It's business time. That's all.
I've never, ever, seen this highly focused player THIS focused. EVER.
This could be a legendary series guys. Buckle up for Kobe Bryant. Buckle up for the Lakers. |
And he missed some shots he would normally make.
It will not surprise me at all if he hangs a double nickel on Orlando at some point in this series. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Bennett Salvatore, Scott Foster, Dickless Bavetta can have you singing a different tune.
38-10 ring a bell? That was the FT attempts Boston had vs what the Lakers had in Game 2 of The Finals (the critical game) last year.
The NBA has to pull out all the stops in Game 2 to make this a series the country will watch. I look for a completely biased nightmare in Game 2 from the "officials". _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

We have to play solid defense for 48 min and take smart shots to overcome the dumb refs. NBA usually gives the home team the favorable calls not in our case throughout the playoffs. |

Absolutely. The energy and fire was there I thought, and I've never seen Kobe look like he did last night. It's like he recognizes this is his time on the biggest stage to shut up all the critics and he's taking it out on the Magic. Ripping the hearts of guys like TJ Simers and Bill Simmons out by destroying the Magic in front of their eyes. _________________ "We are the goodest." - Shaq ESPN interview |

There is no chance they get a disparity as big as last years' 38-10 on Lakers' home floor. |

Game 2 is a must win for the Lakers!!!! if Magic wins, they'll have all the momentum and the series might not even come back to L.A. Time for the crowd to arrive early and cheer often for the team, we need the HCA to disrupt those jump shots !! |
