What makes them thugs exactly? Are you talking about physical play? _________________ Dumbledore closed his eyes and slowly lowered his head before Kupchak. "Teach me," he whispered.
What is thug? They just hotheads. They have a lot of tattoos. Martin curses a lot like KG. Whatever. it's all BS attitude and personality. big deal. people who invest so much energy into an attitude is annoying to me. Show me results. Everyone thinks KG is so intense because he yells and curses a lot and makes scary faces. People like that annoy me so much. It's all pretense. Just show me what you can do.
There's the other extreme too. Like guys who act all cool all the time. That's all an attitude also. Just be yourself and do what you have to do. That's why I like Kobe and Pau. They're emotions are usually pretty natural, none of that stupid BS. Guys like Rondo and Smush walk around like they're so cool, but they just keep it all inside.
Actually, I think that Smith is going to be relegated to the bench for game 2. Kleiza will start instead.
Remember, the only reason Kobe was able to play Billups on D was because Smith is small enough for Fisher to guard.
Having Kleiza at the 2 will also reduce Kobe's height advantage, where he was able to rake the defender over the coals. Melo did a good job of denying, but then it means that on defense, the Lakers get more a chance to rebound. Heck, Kleiza is thick enough to even defend the 3 spot, for limited minutes.
I seriously think they will go big. So to be honest, I think we have to go with the BIG lineup one of these games that KobeDunk talks about because I really think that they will go big so that Kobe can't try to switch off and guard the 1.
doubt the k-mart/kobe match-up, anyone remember how well that worked for den last year? _________________ "These young guys are playing checkers. I'm out there playing chess." -- Kobe Bryant
Put them on the ropes and they will start the question each other and go back to the old Thuggets!!
Start early, pound it inside, and PAU, DREW and LO play like you have a pair and take it up STRONG for all 48!! _________________ "Break for what?" he said. "People spend their hard-earned money to come watch us play, I'm going to play." -KB24 on if he wanted to take a few games off for some rest.

I hope you mean thugs on the court b/c that is not such a bad thing. Back in the day everyone had one of those guys: X-man, Lonnie Shelton, Maurice Lucas.
If you mean thugs off the court, then I would disagree. Chris Henry or Pacman Jones are thugs. Not Kenyon or JR.

Very important for Pau to get going this game, work that middle, like body shots in boxing. If the Lakers can get Denver frontline in foul trouble or at least make them work on D, lakers should have a lil' bit easier time.

read he was going to be re-evaluated today _________________ "In my opinion, I always agreed that Kwame was and would always be better than Bynum. The kid is a defensive stud and has some real potential. Bynum will be good, but Kwame has 25/15 potential."

J.R. Smith has a calf strain and limped around Denver's practice on Wednesday
Smith did some treadmill work before practice and sat out much of the on-court session.
"I'm definitely going to play," Smith said. "I don't think nothing can keep me from this game. It's getting better. It's more of a calf strain than anything. I'm doing the right thing, just staying and getting extra treatment. I'll be ready for tomorrow."

They tied that last year, remember? And it didn't work out too well for them... _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
