It's not that serious. I noticed nobody else had done it yet so I just posted it. I don't get a special prize for being the OP.
Artest's Flagrant 2 was downgraded to a Flagrant 1, so no suspension. _________________ The killer in me is the killer in you! |

i don't think the OP cares; at least i hope (s)he doesn't: there are no special brownie points for starting a game thread.. on the other hand its good to be able to talk smack dozens of hours in advance |

Ha ha! Just Game 5? If you start a thread for (hopefully non existent) game 6 and game 7, i'm sure a lot of us will talk smack there too!! |

You know the rockets will come out with emotion due to Yao being out and we better be able to withstand it for the frist few min. After that we should be able to pull away easliy. Look for AB to have a good game. |

These are the same (well, not really) Rockets that had a 22-0 winning streak last season, and half of 'em were when Yao was out!
Like Craig Hodges said... Lakers better not be overconfident and take this game for granted.
Happy Mom's day! |

No. I figured it out.
1.) The way he looks pisses me off to no end. Smiling and grinning like he is so good. He is nobody.
2.) (bleep) Lakers are too lazy to box out and contest shots, so he looks like an all-star against us.
Oh well. Every scrub gets their 15 minutes of fame against us, and if I had to pick anybody on the rockets, it would probably be him. _________________ https://psntrophyleaders.com/user/view/tenike1

I hope Houston doesn't just give up and play despondently. I prefer the more competitive nature of the game and I believe almost all fans do.
But whatever the case, we should win big. 109 - 92. |

Lakers will need to be able to absorb the on-slaught from the Rockets today and fight their way back to victory. With Yao down, they are going to come out very aggressive and determined to win it for their big man.
I want to see the Lakers up 3-1 because they can rest up after winning Game 5 to prepare for Denver. With that said, I hope I am completely and absolutely wrong today... given the circumstance the Rockets are going to fight extremely hard today and I see the Lakers relaxing a bit and allowing them to have their way.
Rockets 107
Lakers 89 |

Houston will play hard. Kenny Smith labeled them pit bulls If Pau doesn't get 15 to 20 shots this game...it's a travesty. Houston has absolutely no size in their frontcourt with both Yao and Mutumbo out. _________________ The killer in me is the killer in you! |

lakers cant take this team for granted wven w/o yao...we have seen teams that were injured and they come out super geeked up. We should pound them inside and let pau, odom and bynum go to work...they have no one who can handle our bigs _________________ RIP.....Pop (AJ Sr.) 7/09/23-01/20/09
Thanks for 35 years of love, sacrifice and joy...also for taking me to all the lakers games at the GW forum as a youngster and helping me understand the joy that comes from watching a lakers game |

We can't be overconfident. Play like in game 3, and show some killer instinct!
The Rockets actually played better the last 2 games when Yao Ming was OFF the floor. |
