The Jazz don't believe they can beat the Lakers in L.A. It's written all over their faces. Sure, Deron Williams can puff out his chest and say all the right things but his eyes tell a different story. Utah has not done one thing to make me think that they are going to win this series, let alone Game 2. They are an awful defensive team, with or without Memo. _________________ The killer in me is the killer in you!
Any word on Okur and his hamstring? He actually is a tough matchup for Bynum, being a big who can shoot from outside. If he can't go, I don't even see the Jazz winning one game. _________________ Ringo "You retired too?"

I read an article where Memo says he is at about 70% and it still feels tight but he is a game time decision for tomorrow. If he doesn't play tomorrow, he will show up in Game 3. It's going to be tough for Bynum to guard Memo because Drew does pick up dumb fouls in bunches. On the flipside, Memo, with a tight hamstring, probably wouldn't be too keen on having to guard Bynum down on the block. _________________ The killer in me is the killer in you!
The team better hammer the Jazz tonight. No letting their foot off the gas in the 2nd just because they can. Then again, that wouldn't be very much like them.

I'm pretty sure this game will be much closer than Game 1. Sloan's guys may show up a bit more motivated after his "nasty" comments. And I don't think they'll miss quite as many shots or make as many boneheaded plays down the stretch this time around. Let's hope the Lakers don't look past this game.
Lakers had better come out with energy, this is a typical trap game. I hate all the media talk the past two days about Utah being incapable of winning, it's the NBA. These pundits are idiots, one day a team is great the next they suck, they have no idea what they are doing.
Utah is a deep team, capable of an upset here and there, especially if the Lakers don't come to play tonight. They need to be focused...from the beginning.
I think it will be important to establish Pau and Drew down low. The Lakers have to establish dominance in the paint because they can't rely on Ariza and Brown hitting 3s at SLC.

I look for Kobe to be more assertive early in this one. Bynum should play better and I'd like to see a better game from Odom too. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions!
