Sloan is just challenging his own players. Utah will come out with ferocity, but the Lakers are just too big and skilled in the 4 and 5 positions.
Oh yeah, and we have that Kobe Bryant guy Utah can't guard. _________________ "Every time he got an offensive rebound, it was deflating," Hornets coach Monty Williams said ... "I thought Bynum decided the series. He was that good."

Sorry Sloan, I dont beleive you, you need more people lol.
I doubt our coaches and players will take them lightly.
I see us winning this in 6. _________________ "I wish I could draw a picture of the look on their faces..... For a time, it was like he was on the court by himself. It's like God put Kobe here for us to watch him play basketball." - LO On KB8's Performance Against the Clips 07/01/06 |

I don't believe it Jerry's doing a Phil Zen imitation. It's not going to work Jerry, we're coming at you with both guns blazing. Nice try though. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Sunday, and then game 2 will be Wednesday and then game 3 next Sunday. Basically waste an entire week of life on 3 games so Stern can make money because of his garbage product since MJ left. The refs in the Portland and Utah game have me in a state of disgust and if the Lakers do not win a title because of it, I am seriously going to stop watching the NBA. Game 2 in the Finals last year really planted a bad seed for me. Oh and, pray that ghoul looking (bleep) Tony Brothers doesn't ref any of the games. |

Every banquet hall I've ever been in has a TV stashed somewhere. Do some recon and find out if the place has a bar. You can bet there will be a TV in there. If not, I'm willing to bet there's a supply closet somewhere that has one. _________________ Game recognize game, Granddad. - Riley Freeman, The Boondocks |

Last years Utah opener....
Gasol, Odom, Radmanovic and Turiaf were all seriously outplayed in the paint even though the Lakers won....
We had thier asses kicked but we let them back in the 3rd if you all remember!
The Jazz got second and third attempts last year because we did not have Bynum, and Boozer was playing much better last year as well...
I do not see that as one of our problems this year... |

You can usually tell its me because I'll be running up and down the 300 section seats screaming defense, or Kobe or Lakersground.net! lol.
I swear last year I was up in the 300's and I asking "Where my Lakersground people at?" and someone on here posted they heard someone yelling Lakersground... yea that was probably me or one of you guys!! lol. _________________ 15th thru 20th rings!!!! |
