Gameday is here, Laker nation. AI and RIP are out for tonight's game. The Lake Show ain't going to stop now. I predict the Lakers win by single digits.

I'll be at the game. I live in Chicago but flew out to MI to watch the game with a friend - another LG member.

I seriously hope its a competitive game. Also hoping Kobe gets his shot back - this is my only chance to watch him live this year.

We will be leaving in 30 mins to head out to the Palace

I wouldn't be surprised if they don't nationalize any of the next road games. Look at the competition. If the Lakers weren't one of the teams I wouldn't watch. Only reason I am is because I'm a Laker fan.

With Sheed, Rip and Ai out, no reason we shouldn't win this game by 10-15 points. But knowing how much our team struggles in Detroit, this will be a tight game all the way till the end. We better win though, sick of losing to those (bleep) at auburn hills.Steaks gotta end soon, may as well be tonight. Stop that losing streak in the palace.

TNT just cant just decide "hey lets put on the Lakers tonight". There are rules a team can only be on national television a certain amount of times a season and im 100% Lakers are on the max amount they can be on national TV this season. Im sure they rather have the Lakers on.

Yes - the limit was 23, not sure if that is still the number, but Lakers have played the max number of natonal games every season except 04-05, IIRC.

All three games have teams fighting for playoff seedings. Pistons are fading fast by injuries. The competition between Suns/Blazers and Heat/Bulls are intense.

Given our past struggles and the players they have sitting out, there is no excuse not to win tonight.

Lakers-Pistons was on ESPN earlier in the year, so I guess they didn't think it was worth putting on twice.

Remember to look at this from before the season started perspective, because that's when the schedules were made.
