Either Powell or Lamar. Pierce is slower than most players of his caliber. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

I wonder if they activate DJ for the next two games and put Mihm off line. We could use the bigger body against Boston and Cleveland, and Gasol is going to need a little help. Powell may not always be the best answer at the center position. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions!

I dont care that we dont have Bynum. The same team took Boston to 6 games last year. The same team was up 21 pts in game 4 last year against boston. yes we're better with bynum, but we should be able to play hard and compete tmrw night
tmrw when we step on the "parquet floor"((bleep) their floor) we need to remember that we got blown out and embarrased by 39 (bleep) points last year. losing is one thing, but getting (bleep) blown out and embarrased is another
every player needs to look at himself in the mirror and remind themselves how they felt last year in game 6. how they felt when boston would not let up and even subbed in starters when they were up 30 in the 4th quarter. how classless they were after the game.
gasol has been playing great ball as of late, and if it stops because of kendrick "i try to act hard because im small down there" perkins, then we have problems. gasol is one of the best players in the WORLD, and he needs to show it tmrw. kobe needs to play smart basketball and take what the defense gives him. guys like odom, farmar, sasha, etc need to be ready to drain open shots off kobe's doubles/triples.
(bleep) rivers, (bleep) kg, (bleep) allen, (bleep) pierce, (bleep) red too
im tired of getting blown out in (bleep) boston
lets start this (bleep) party _________________ Dominating every day.

I'm getting together at the bar to watch this with friends...I want to see a victory. I'm so tired of Boston. Let our dynasty begin now and their championship will be a slight bother in our rearview mirror.
All I want is the Lakers to make it a good game. I don't believe in moral victories, but this place will really suck if everything takes an "all or nothing at all" attitude for the next 2 games.

It'd be nice if it was a s simple 'heart", because this team clearly has it.
The are not only going to have to care, they are going to have to overcome physical shortcomings defensive liabilities. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Lakers gonna get killed in the paint. If we get a W i would be shocked _________________ DancingBarry wrote:

if we get blown out, then simply adding bynum isnt going to solve our woes against this celtic team in their building.
with bynum out the rest of the regular season, chances are, come june we will not have homecourt against the celtics if we meet them in the finals
we need to show them we can compete on their floor. if we win, great. but we need to play hard and show fire.
for those of you who think, "well, we dont have bynum, so if we get blown out, who cares" have a loser mentality. _________________ Dominating every day.
Kobe and D-Fish will be fired up for this game. I think Gasol will go into Boston trying to show that he can do what he did on Christmas Day at Staples. Sasha might come out with some wild ill-advised shots, I think Ariza will get considerable playing time tomorrow because his defensive energy is sorely needed against the green bastards.
I see the Celtics trying to make this game into a "We're gonna show the world who the top dog is, the Lakers don't mean (bleep)" type of thing, and they'll try to take advantage of the inside void as much as possible. I think Perkins will look to bully Pau around in the middle, Leon Powe will bring intense hustle, and Tony Allen will be huge as well. Ray Allen might catch on fire because he's coming off the huge shot he hit in Philly.
I'm expecting that this game will be close and the odds are favoring the Celtics. I hope the Lakers go in tomorrow looking to deliver the beat down and show the rest of the world that they can actually win in Boston. It's games like this on a back to back where the mental toughness through adversity really shows. It separates who the men are from the boys. _________________ "We are the goodest." - Shaq ESPN interview
