I was hoping there would be a way both teams could lose. The Rox don't look bad, but they need to figure out that Yao should be the #1 option. If they want to go far, their big man will have to carry them there.

Then they aren't going to go far with how Yao is playing. He doesn't look himself at all in the second half. Couldn't get off the ground 2 inches to dunk, getting swatted by Perkins 4 times. He was miserable when it counted.

51pts (18/22fgs and 15/15fts)
11rebs
6ast
5stls
2blks

I know its against the Pacers but these stats are just SICK... The reason for these numbers are fromthe 10 minutes Shaq played... it opened the game up tremendously for Amare and he dominated

i think a 51 point game by stoudemire is ridiculous, and should make us discuss how the suns might a be a legitimate threat (not to the title, but to the western standings)

Ugh! I was at that game tonight and even I still don't remember how he managed to score that much. It was funny watching him flop and the crowd booing him when he hit that camerman

Yahoo says he got 49 points though not 51 like it matters the Pacers blew that lead and then the fans started leaving about a minute before the game ended...

Wow Amare. Not just the 49 points, but 17/21 shooting (81%) and 15-15 from the free throw line. That's insane

they couldn't stop Amare in the paint ... he just owned. Simple as that.

Spurs should have lost that game but good teams find a away to win even when they're struggling ......

it must be disheartening for spurs fans, having 3 players going off for 26+ points, and one with 50+ points to win a game, and even then still requires double overtime against one of the lower seeds in NBA

but Tony Parker had a monster of a game

76ers vs Magic...

The 76ers have a lot of talent, but they still are struggling to get the chemistry. Wonder how long Cheeks will get?

Keep an eye on Thad Young; great young player.

Just something I noticed from one of tonight's games: a player shot a three-pointer after a dead ball and another player tried to block it, but only managed to deflect it inside of the hoop. I have never been a fan of this practice and I think it should be banned. The NBA set up a dress code for a reason. The act of preventing the ball from going in is an intimidating gesture and should be considered taunting (Because my name is garnett, therefore I am allowed to beat my chest, curse, punch my head, beat my head repeatedly on the goal post, refuse to talk to anybody before a game, have my psychotic behavior be referred to as "intensity," and potentially instigate tempers to flare up by rudely preventing dead ball shots from going in.). Not only has this become a disgusting fad, jumping up unnecessarily wastes energy and puts a player at risk for injuries.

Another thing that pisses me off to a lesser extent is when a whistle is called and a player holds on to the ball, only to have someone from the opposing team try to knock it out of their hands while they are trying to talk to the referee.
