There is KCAL9 in SD? I know of KCAL in LA

You might be right, sorry. Definitely FSNWest with any cable provider. Have you checked who your carrier is yet?

I've lived in La Jolla for six years now - and haven't found a way to get KCAL 9 on the TV. You're fine for all Laker home games [w/ FSN west], but you may just have to pony up for NBA League Pass [or rely on websites putting up link to TV streams].

Personally, I typically get NBA league pass broadband, and watch the non-national TV away games on my computer. That, or there's always sports bars [not that I really go, I just assume that they'd be showing them].

If you can afford to live in La Jolla I'm sure you can afford season tickets at Staples.

I live in Temecula and I can get KCAL but in San Diego you're out of luck. FSN West for home games and online for away games or you can try free to air to catch KCAL in San Diego.

GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just an fyi, especially for you non-Cali Laker fans, I checked my guide this morning and NBA TV is listing tomorrow night's Lakers preseason game at 10pm EST.

Good news as they have been very spotty over the years when it comes to giving the Lakers any run during the preseason. Don't know how many other games they'll show, but here's hoping...

swooo, i thought it was only going to be on nba tv. this is just for NON cali people. one thing i dont like about at&T uverse is NO NBA TV. i mean i have the nfl network, all kinds of racing channels, golf, tennis. but NO HOOP. i dont get it.

You get every game except those being televised nationally (TNT, ESPN, ABC, NBA TV). And there might be a local blackout occasionally. For instance, when the Lakers play here in Boston, they black out the League Pass feed and I have to watch it on the local network (with the Boston announcers). But in effect, you'll be able to watch all 82 games (as long as you have cable and have the above channels).

Well I'm playing hookie from my Chem class tomorrow. Its no biggie since I haven't missed but my plans are. Go to my friends pad and buy some tacos (Titos Tacos from Culver City to be exact) and a 12 pack of coronas and some limes of course. I have never been so pumped for a "exhibition" game ...ever lol

What are your plans ?

My plans are to watch the game I can't wait for tomorrow night, every second until then feels like a chore. I hope all the starters play, I don't care who they rest after the first game, I just hope we have the starting 5 play together at some point tomorrow night. I really want to see how this ish is going to work. Should be fun.

I feel for you Linda, that Boston game calling is the worst in the entire league.

Sometimes I just mute the whole game.

Isn't it amazing how quickly the season seems to roll around when you go deep into the playoffs? Just happy the boys are back on the floor and ready to kick some @rse!

I don't know if it will be happening during the preseason, but with the debut of the regular season, remember that TNT will be taking over the NBA TV and NBA.com properties. With that, they plan to have a new look on NBA TV, which has been much needed. Hopefully we can get some previews of what the new channel will look like after they take it over, as it was in desperate need of a makeover.

That's too bad. I prefer NBA TV broadcasts over TNT. Way too many freaking commercials on TNT...

Playing into June really makes the summer a lot shorter. Two summers ago was terrible.

Tomorrow I'll be the happiest day on earth. At First, I'll hand the second and final housework for my studies to the office and secondly, the looooong off season will come to an end. I guess I'll coming home late and then I'll be waiting in front of the screen until 4 am (german time) and hopefully someone can provide me with a stream. If there's no stream i might listen to Spero and Mychal but probably I'm falling asleep listening to a preseason game....

btw. does anybody know if there'll be a radio stream tomorrow?
