anyone else see something that looks odd? 9 fouls for amir johnson in 16 mins?
also the guy we traded for mo evans started at center... |
youre allowed 10 fouls per game in the summer league, and i think that center guy played for them in the summer league last year too. |

Forget the points. He looked TERRIBLE. |
I don't understand comments like these. I mean, what exactly did he do that was terrible? Or for that matter what were you expecting from him? Killer crossovers? In your face dunks? Pounding of the chest? I think people need to either lower their expectations of some players or put things into perspective and look at how a player can help our team. Or maybe tell us exactly what you expected from him, compared to players picked in his range and tell us how he disappointed. It's disingenuous to say he looked terrible and leave it at that. |

I would like to Caner-Medley get a invite to training camp, maybe some of his aggressiveness will rub off on some the Lakers. _________________ Started posting on Lakersground when it was lakers/rivals.com since Aug.2000. |

Watched most of the 1st half, i'll watch the rest on dvr later. Crawford looks more comfortable early. Still looking for jefferson to get pt, any action for him yet? _________________ "It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up."-The Greatest |

How many assists would Crawford have if his teammates could hit a shot? |

I seen that beauty in the 1st quarter (?), I know he had to be p*****. Not being ready for passes, reminds me of a former Laker. _________________ "It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up."-The Greatest |

ANother game for Bayless tonight at 7pm--that should be interesting after his last strong performance. It's really not in our best interest for that guy to turn into something special... |

Lakers playing Wolves. Kevin Love playing.
Lakers up 21-19 in the 1st quarter.
Crawford having a nice game. Not much defense ... typical summer league game. |

Tie game. Joe brings the ball up, holds it for time to run down. Crossover, almost trips, but regains control and hits the floater. |

So unfortunately it looks like Bayless is the real deal (I'm not convinced Rose is much better than him either). I really recommend you catch him in his last summer league game today if you haven't already had a chance to watch him play. I guess it only makes sense--prior to the draft I saw a lot of people picking him in the top 5. Can't believe the Blazers got him. Whether or not the level of competition is incredibly impressive, the guy's skills are really impressive. His penetration is unbelievable. I just can't get my head around why he has so few assists, but I'm sure he'll improve in that area as more defenders start coming at him. Brandon Rush might be a good player, but I think the Pacers end up the real loser here considering how good I see this guy ending up. |

I've never been sold on Brandon Rush...maybe it's because everytime I watched him play in college, all I saw was him clanking jumper after jumper. He looked no better than Aaron Afflalo (UCLA fan here...but was never sold on that guy either). _________________
