With Newble gone, it leaves another roster spot open.... if Mbenga leaves, that would leave two spots open. It all depends on who we sign... if we bring in Posey or Yue, there goes one or two spots.
I like Coby Karl a lot... I think he actually has a shot of being a decent player in the league. Jefferson has tons of potential, but he'll need to earn it at the SPL. I'm sure he'll get a camp invite regardless. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

wow i got to see a pic of this guy 7-1 195... wow... gasol would punk him haha |
Lakers drafted him and then traded him to Detroit for Mo Evans. When the Pistons came to LA to play the Lakers in November, he had a couple nice blocks on Bynum |

Samb looked much thicker the last time Detroit played the Lakers, he hit the weight room, that is for sure. He is sure athletic and he can get off the floor. He might be a good back up C one day.
You know, out of all of the guys on the roster, I am most intrigued by Ced Bozeman. He had some really good run with the Hawks when all of their PG's were hurt and he can really get on it on the defensive side of the ball. The guy is also very big for being a PG, he could play SG if needed.
His big weakness is his shooting. We will see if this has improved. _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss |

LakeFan-
Trevor is a much better athlete and Bozeman has much better handles, but yes, they both lack shooting and are good defenders.
I think that Bozeman can play in this leauge and we need defensive help at all positions, especially at PG. Fish is not getting any younger or faster and Farmar is just too small to defend some of the bigger PG's out there.
But if we are looking to bring Sun Yue to the big club this year, there will be precious litte room for Ced. Sun can play some pretty good defense as well, and guess what, he is a bad shooter too! _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss |

I havn't seen that name in a little while. I remember when they thought he could actually be a player in this league. _________________ "It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up."-The Greatest |

He was a solid big man at USC. He's undersized, but is also a good rebounder. _________________ "It's a challenge, nobody said it was gonna be easy"- Kobe Bryant |

That's a lot of players.
I'm surprised nobody is wetting their pants that James White is on the list.
Pat Calathes is a 6'10" Luke Walton with a jumpshot. I think he'll stick in the league. |

Yea, I remember liking Gray as our 1st rounder back in 06. Should be interesting, as should Bozeman and Devon Jefferson. |

I think the 4 bolded guys have a great chance at sticking. A least the most "potential" talent wise....
Jefferson and White really have the chance to be real deal players if they can keep their heads on straight....They are both guys I thought we should have drafted.....So they get their chance now... |

Taj Gray could surpise some people. I really liked him when he came out of OU and for some reason just dissapeared. He won't be a starter, but he could be a decent backup. Yi Li and Davon Jefferson are both intriguiging players. _________________

Looking forwrd to seeing how Davon Jefferson and James White do. If Jefferson could shake his bad attitude wrap he has serious upside. _________________ “What is 17,505”
