It is a shame real Laker fans can't come to LG and enjoy an incredible win

We've just won an incredible game ... a great comeback ... and we're all subjected to a bunch of Faker fans posting negatives about Odom, Fish, and whomever else their hate filled hearts take aim at.

Unbelievable.

I can guarantee that even after we hoist THE trophy, these Fakers will still be spewing their hatred. They won't be happy unless we LOSE the series just as (insert their choice of player-to-hate) misses the final, possibly winning, shot.

Dude, stop whining. If you wanna enjoy the win, enjoy the win. Starting another negative thread only adds to everything you're crying about.

Who's to say those fans didn't enjoy the win as much as you did -- and then they enjoyed posting their criticisms?

Yeah honestly I don't get it. Are we supposed to expect every single player on the team that stepped foot on the court to have their best game of the year or an amazing game all the time?

I sometime feel like some of these cats don't play basketball or else they'd know that players have off nights (yes, even Kobe has off nights)

I hate all these stupid wack ass threads made just to bash a player, when the most important thing is we came back from 20 points to win Game 1 of the WCF.

Boggles my mind actually.

Just ignore the negative threads like I do. Dont worry too much about others opinions, unless of course you agree with them

I'm enjoying this win very much. I actually enjoyed this win more than any game in a long time. . .even though there were no game winners involved.
I appreciate this win and will never forget it.
I don't know about the others though, but I would think most every Laker fan is very happy right now

Plenty of people are very elated about this victory right now. It wasn't a perfectly played game, though, so people are voicing their criticisms.

Personally, I'm enjoying the win immensely. Jubilant even. But I'm still angry we were down 20 in the first place. And for that I do blame those players who didnt' show up tonight. I'm not going to pretend there is nothing we couldn't do better.

It is too bad, but it's kinda amusing tonight that the Lamar critics finally get some attention time, it's been quite the drought for them.

Must feel good to break the surface and breathe again...

What would be the point of this board if everyone just spoke in positive terms? It wouldn't be fun if you just said what everyone else is saying. I think, though, it isn't as bad as Spurstalk looks right now. If you haven't been over there, its like a manu-massacre over there...

Give credit where credit is due. I criticize him after every game.

Yes you do... ...definitely not including you in the group.

Uh, there's a different between crticizing the game we played and just flat out bashing and singling out players every single night.

I'm pretty sure no one would mind if people criticized the game itself.

Obv, I'm talking about stuff like transition defense, turnovers, too many outside shots/3 pointers etc.

Just criticizing different facets of the game instead of just making 10 threads on Lamar or Fish.

too much "what have you done for me lately"

Fish and Lamar were one of the MAIN reasons we came out of Utah the way we did. They have ONE bad game and people are on their asses.

I'm not sensitive to the negative threads, but because we don't have a + - button next to the thread, it's annoying to see all the bullsht after an amazing comeback.

Sometimes it's almost as bad coming here after we win a game, as when the Lakers lose.

what ever happened to "all that matters is we got the W?"

not every game is going to be pretty showtime status.. There are going to be some ugly wins that we come back and win.

Perfect example is if Kobe goes off for 70 and we Lose, who gives a crap?

If Kobe scored 7 and we got the W, that's all that would matter. We would say "Bad game by Kobe, but we got the W, so alls well that ends well"

Plus, we were rusty after that 5 day rest. Some players didn't adjust properly, but you can guarantee they'll bounce back by game 2.

That one bad game could've cost us the series. You work hard all year for HCA and you don't want lose it like we almost lost it. Everyone has bad games. But when you're at home at it's the opening game against a team like SA, you can't cough up like they coughed up and not expect people to come down hard.
