Lakers' bench was non-productive tonight. Good thing all the starters played well offensively.

They were better than the utah bench and thats all that matters

Pau Gasol played like the MVP in this game. Great job Paul. Lots of GASOLina! Wohoo!

Lamar, you delivered in crunch time, you didn't made any boneheaded plays. Continue to make me eat my words about you OK?

Fish stuck some daggers to his former team. Haha. That's what they get when of their fans mocks him during the free throw line at Game 4 with a classless act. :glee:

Good to know that Farmar scored more than 3 pts this time.

Don't worry, Sasha just had an off night.l

I'm sure Kobe was proud of his boys. And the way he played made me damn proud of him. He played totally smart b-ball tonight

Wow, what a game! Thank god we are going into Utah with a 3-2, now let's see if we can close it out in Utah. Kobe needs the rest if we hope to have a chance against New Orleans/San Antonio...

Two of our "sleepers" woke up for this game (Vlad and Farmar) so thats a good sign. Hopefully they stay awake or Friday's game. You know the Machine is gonna bring it on Friday. Expect Phil to make some changes that will baffle Sloan & Co. Closout Friday, I would love to put a hurting on those Jazz fans, just as we did the "Enver"!!!

It's already a whinefest over that flopped over the back attempt by Okur.

It's a dose of their own medicine. They like pushing people for rebounds and the refs were letting them get away with it. About time someone from our team did it and got away with it.

They're probably just pissed that Okur didn't think of doing that first... probably forgot that he plays for Sloan. I wish Phil had mentioned the push-offs in this series.

I don't think it met the definition of a push off until I see Pau do a standing press of 230 lbs with his left hand. Gasol touched him with his forearm and Okur acted like he got shot with Napoleon Dynamite's fricken 12 gauge.

Everyone associated with the Jazz are swine to twist that nonsense into more conspiracy talk.

I like what Barkley said, forget Boston, we got the big three. Even better, if we keep our core players together next season, we're going to have a big four with Bynum.

Very good point.

I was making this point to my friend before the game. Was talking about how it's not so much the big names or all-star caliber players that play well at home or make the difference.

It's the "scrubs" or "supporting cast" as Jordan would call them.

Utah's stepped up in their home court, big time.

Tonight, Vlad had a big game IMO. 15 points from him is no joke, and we really needed it. We need 1 shooter to show up in each game - out of Vujacic, Radmanovic and Farmar. If just one of those 3 have a good night, with the big 3 playing like they can, IMO we'll put up enough to win. Then it'll come down to how we executed defensively.

so annoying that jazz fans and even jazz players complain about a push on the back by Gasol for a rebound.

Hate to say it, but this thing goin 7, and you know in game 7....anything can happen.

I knew at half we were in trouble, just like Utah at home, we dominated, should have been up by about 20 and had a 7 point lead. I told my son at half, we're in trouble, that was a win for Utah in the first half...

Too many missed open shots that could have put this on ice, several times. Too many offensive rebounds for Utah. I just can't see us closing it out on their floor and they are getting more and more confident. This series still scares me, but like most times, I hope I'm dead wrong on this...

And thats gonna be a big factor in game 6. If the lakers can keep a lid on thier bench and continue to make Boozer's life miserable, thy should be in good shape.

But you can bet the crowd is gonna loud as hell and Utah will really feed off of that.

Huge, huge test on friday.

That is weak and that should not happen when you're a 7 footer playing at home. No way.

At times Pau shows very poor balance and spends too much time on the floor and leaving us at a disadvantage at the defensive end.

That said, he made the plays that won us the game down the line.

Farmar a.k.a the turnstyle needs to step it up. Since January he's been BAD. I don't think he even tries to defend sometimes.

Radmanovic needs to step it up consistently as well even though he was "good" in adding 15 points tonight.

Great game( too much "suffering for my taste ) and great win. Hope the guys can finish off the series on Friday.
