I can help, as can others I'm sure. Something needs to be done, that is clear. From my experience, there's a lot that probably can be done short of spending money.
I'm sure there is more than one issue. Besides the database related stuff, one that I've noticed is that whoever hosts the DNS craps out way too frequently. Those kinds of things are usually easy to fix.
If someone can give info about the kinds of peak load that the side sees, and the current architecture, that would be a good start. |

agree with jmnluvr.
It's not 2001 anymore, it's 2000-freaking-8, seven years later! LG shouldn't die every time a big game or big news hits the forum.
So DB, what's the current plan in regards to fixing these bandwidth/traffic load issues ... that is, if a plan is in place? |
