and numerous attempts to contact and reregister I finally got a response. Now I would like to have my old username restored. I would like the mods or administrator to contact me via email so I can send them copies of my attempts |

Apologies to everyone who is having a difficult time registering.
LG gets about 100 registration attempts a day from spambots. Because of that we've gone to manual approval, and sometimes the real registrations get lost in all the noise.
We're still in the middle of the site transition, and fixing the registration process will be one of the things we address. |

Thanks so much Phil and glad to see that you were willing to take over LG as I would have hated to see it disappear! You rock! _________________ "Hate that I'm a veteran and a champion, hate that.

That sounds like a cookie problem. Check your settings.
However, its not a good idea to use the login automatically function. FaxD explained it to us, some time back and while I don't remember word for word... it basically comes down to a security risk. _________________ 7-24-08 |

Security risk for us?
I keep my sign in information saved in Firefox, so the browser remembers my information. LG also saves it. Should I log out and log back in and uncheck the box then? _________________ Courage doesn't always roar.

phpBB uses cookies to store this information. Since LG works fine with every browser, but not for everybody with any one browser, then I strongly suspect it's a cookie issue (but it could be a proxy issue, or a host of other things as well).
Check your cookies to see if there is one called lakersground.net, and another called forums.lakersground.net. |
