To Boston: JO
To LA: KG
To Indy: LO, West, Telfair, 19.
To Minny: Bynum, Farmar, Cook, Ratliff, #5.
Boston gets JO for #5 and West, Telfair and Ratliff's expiring K. GREAT DEAL for them.
LA gets KG for LO, Bynum, Farmar and Cook. (i think we can exchange cook for Evans and Sasha if they want). FANTASTIC DEAL for us.
Indy gets: Lo, West, Telfair, 19 for JO. I actually don't know how good this is for Indy. They get LO and 19 and two good PG prospects. Is this good for them?
Minny gets: Bynum, Farmar, Cook, Ratliff, #5 for KG. That's about as good as it can get for KG. Young cheap prospects and a lottery pick.
Why would Boston want JO and his contract? They are rebuilding, so that doesn't make much sense.
West
Pierce
who cares
Al Jefferson
J Oneal
thats more than enough to compete in the east
Not sure they wouldn't have to give up Al Jefferson. After all, the package has to be attractive to Minny - and they want Jefferson and that 5th pick. Jefferson, #5 and Ratliff's expiring K - is that enough for Minny? I know they want young talent (Jefferson), high draft pick (#5) and expiring Ks (Ratliff) and perhaps a throw in of ours, as well.
maybe minny is getting our #19 and a future 1st of ours as well (which hopefully would be in the late 20's )

JO said he'd go wherever they'd trade him - and I don't think the thought of playing with Paul Pierce in a weak division of a weak conference, is horrible to him. It would give him a legit chance to compete in the playoffs.
Isn't the trio of KB, LO, JO better than just KB and KG?
If that were to happen, they could just measure the Lakers for the rings immediately after the papers were signed...
Damn I wish Kwame was valuable to somebody... That was the weak link... Not LO, not even Drew... _________________ "According to ESPN.com's conference projections, the Lakers will finish 12th in the West, which prompted Bryant to tweet earlier this offseason, "12th I see.."
Wow .. that would be sick. If that happens .. this whole thing could wind up going from a big nightmare to a dream ending.
But then you'd have to root for that despicable Kobe Bryant again.

You root for the name in the front not the back.
He is an SOB but as long he is our SOB why not?
You're getting at the wrong guy, Nest: It's Wolfy who's been talking barf bags as it relates to having to root for Kobe should he stay; now he's talking "dream ending". Death, taxes, Wolfpac revisionism...

If we can do this and keep Kwame, we would be really tough in the paint on D. And Kwame's offense I think would blossom while playing with KG. _________________ Think about how stupid the avg. person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

Do you guys know how significant this is? After all the years of KG rumors where major newspaper especially the LA Times would just laugh at the notion of KG to LA... For the first time EVER, they are confirming conversation. For the first time EVER, it's a rumor not reported by resident insiders or hoopsworld or insidehoops, etc... It's the LA TIMES!

Disagree. With KG, Kwame becomes even more valuable TO US. KG is NOT banger or a man defender against the big boys. We'd need Kwame that much more to compliment KG at PF.
